I think for those not as in tune with skateboarding they're kinda missing... The context. Phelps is the type of asshole that people tend to refer as "our asshole". He was not 'nice' and he was never attempting to mislead people into thinking so. Quite the opposite. In my opinion it's just a regular Lapierre GLP3 without the plastic cover (probably for better cooling/heat dissipation) ? Vincent Ledieu is working for Michelin, I don't think he is involved in Lapierre bikes development.

10/23/2025 2:07pm As someone that also went down the rabbit hole of L-Key vs Ratchet vs T-Handle (sliding or not), I say use what is most comfortable for you. All works plenty fine for most bike application. But there is definite wrong answer and that is the 3-way.

I thought it was very brave of Ebruner to be vulnerable and share how many bikes he and his wife have. It can be tough to come clean. We’re all active or recovering bikes addicts here, and this is supposed to be a supportive community for recovery. I'm locking this thread for a day or two. Not trying to be rude, I'd actually love to jump in myself, but we've gone way off the rails. None of this ties back to the bike or outdoor industry directly. If you want to continue the AI discussion, please start a new thread, take it to X/Twitter, or head over to LinkedIn. I have a real hard time believing AI is going to result in some sort of utopia for the masses. There's enough money right now that we could all get some level of UBI and be working less and spending more time on our passion projects. But when have the ultra wealthy EVER wanted to part with even a little bit more of their money?
