3/14/2026 7:09pm Clik valves are cheaper than Fillmore valves and you can actually convert your current tubeless valves to clik by just buying the valve core. Had Fillmore for 3 ears and no issues with them, only set up my new wheelset with the clik valve so just aired up the tire for the initial tubeless setup. Haven't tried setting up DH...

3/10/2026 7:31pm There was a Dyname 4.0 non horst link bike that was about to launch last year that didn't because of the issues they went through. I bet that's about to finally drop as it's been sitting on the back burner since their December '24 insolvency announcement.

3/5/2026 5:53am I have heard from a LBS that Norco should have a new affordable simple Horst link DH option like around 6k CAD for a complete DH bike with Rockshox Select suspension for this spring-summer.

2/27/2026 11:52am Not sure if there is really an advantage of those bash guard being alu versus the stock plastic sram one. On the other hand, I wish those 3rd party chainring maker would make their chainring compatible with the sram bash guard.

2/13/2026 11:05am Ripley SL next Tuesday. teaser on the Ibis insta, you can see the general shape. This should appease all the dad shredders on MTBR who keep telling me the V5 is too much of a trail bike now.

2/10/2026 5:24pm IIRC Vee and Vittoria (Lion tires) are the main bike tires factories in Thailand. So if another brand of tires is made in Thailand I would think there is a good chance it's one of those two. The other main bike tires factories are in other countries.

2/8/2026 7:31pm MRP still make their DH bashguide G5 with a alloy or steel backplate but there is only a 50g difference. Most WC rider seems to add 400-600g of weight

2/6/2026 1:30pm The part listing in a POS is often not an issue. Most big distributor send regular updated database to Lightspeed and other POS system so that shop can quickly add SKU in their system and work orders via catalog results. This is the kind of API connection that both distributor/manufacturer and lightspeed constantly work on. As for work order communication...

2/1/2026 7:36pm Few speculations: New Sram stuff: there is currently a countdown at this page https://www.sram.com/en/sram/mountain/campaigns/dh for February 23rd-24th, that is most likely Transmission AXS DH and new Boxxer E1 with linear XL air spring add-on and Charger 3.2 being launched. There is a possibility new Zeb B1 get launched at the same time they share the Linear XL air spring add-on...
