VPP patent is now expired so no more licensing fees open up option for brands. Might see the same when the DW4 patent expire. Same thing that happened when Horst link patent expired around 2016? and DT/Hugi star ratchet for freehubs 2 years ago ?

You are the one being misleading. less than 10% of rape actually get reported to the police. The remaining 90% are still rape/SA. 20% of victims don't report to the police because of victim blaming from the aggressor or public discourse. another 20% of victims don't report to the police because they fear retaliation from the aggressor And another 15%...

That's not really backed up by the prosecution/conviction statistics at all. e.g.: "According to figures from the French Ministry of Gender Equality, every year in France, 94,000 women report being victims of rape or attempted rape. But in 2021, barely 1 percent of the reported assaults resulted in a conviction." In the UK it's still extremely hard to get a conviction for rape. I know someone who was drugged then raped, and despite a lot of evidence there was no conviction. I can imagine in somewhere like France it would be even harder just with what the prevailing attitude towards...

CNC alloy lug bonded to alloy tubes makes so much sense for small frame builder. Can build around easily available tubes, bond joint be slightly away from high stress area and custom geometry should still be possible if desired depending on design. Really excited to see where this could go in the next 3-5 years.

Seems like not many know this but Shimano make a 12 speed shorter cage derailleur (XT & XTR) setup to be paired with a 10-45 cassette (SLX/XT/XTR). Been running this setup with a 30T chainring for 3+ years now and love it. Headset bearing angle. No idea why both 45/45deg and 36/45deg exist but if everyone could agree to pick...

Is it really losing the 5150 crew to competition when almost all of them are still running reserve wheels and are still on PON owned brands just not Santa Cruz ?

The relation of body weight/ surface area is relatively simple as a lighter rider would be physically smaller so lower surface area but gravity also play a role which favors heavier rider. So theoretically speaking the heavier rider have a lower top speed due to more aero drag but can get to that speed faster via gravity force. And vice-versa...

And GMBN in their not really scientific testing had a 5-6s difference between baggy kit -> normal DH kit with no protection underneath -> TT skinsuit on a 4 minute trail.

I tried to keep my explanation simple but it seems my message is not getting across. Aerodynamic force is calculated as such: Fd is the force created P is mass density which in Downhill racing will vary slightly based on atmospheric air pressure of the day but is relatively constant U is the air speed and it is squared so...

1- Dyneema has pretty much no stretch at all, this is also one of the reason it's a good material for rope, sails, bikepacking bag and many other use but not for clothing. I am very dubious of your claim that Bruni kit is made 100% of Dyneema. There can be some of it for added abrasion resistance like other...

I have no idea if you are joking but Dyneema was never used for aero purpose. Dyneema come from the sailing world for a High-strength/low weight ratio material and is used by others industries for the same reason. If you look at other cycling discipline they don't use Dyneema in their skinsuit. Yes Dyneema is expensive but nothing compared to...
