Adrian Dailly was riding a Bronson right? So I think that's the first time someone's won the Men's Overall not on a full 29 in a long time.
It's definitely the first time the overall was won on a Santa Cruz bike. And weirdly enough, only the second time ever when men's overall was won by a French, given how dominant they are in the sport (only Jerome Clementz won it before in the inaugural 2013 season).
I guessed I just asked on the right day. Stoked to see some loose runs.

I am a fan of Ronan Dunne but is “The King” applicable here? Is this a Black Mamba self-nickname situation, an out-of-touch UCI thing, or even something he’s been called?
Bruni is our King, with twin Maple Princes Finnley and Boostboi as Heir and a Spare. Amaury Pierrron our gladiator knight Smashalot.
I’m thinking those 80s sports poster vibes…marketing departments please make a series of these. Remember these?
Seattle raised so I remember Dale Ellis Silent Assassin and Steve Largent Dipshit Congressman or whatever.

Generally speaking, Irish people arn't particularly fond of monarchies... there were a lot of other ways they could have phrased that
Sick of crankworx to announce their enduro series within a few days of the UCI announcing theirs is no longer happening. Just hope the crankworx one is more than a new Zealand and Canada series.

They have put out an invitation globally for venues to express interest, so I have reasonable confidence in this being far more global. Good example is the money that Haute-Savoie are throwing at MTB tourism these days, several other areas in Europe are doing the same as well as Tasmania, Korea (dammed if I know why with this one?).
Places like Chile, would do well to try and offer to do an Enduro timed to finish say 3 days before a Redbull urban DH, or start say 3 days after the DH, makes it more tempting for tourists to come and stay for those precious extra few "spending tourist money" days.
Hopefully crankworks does the broadcast style they did at Whistler a few years. Short section of cameras but primarily final stage finish line interviews and storytelling.
Jesse winning Whistler live was peak enduro broadcasting imo.
wishful thinking.... but with Snowshoe losing DH, they are a great venue for an east coast enduro leg. Great backcountry riding and most of their bike park trails have a more enduro feel anyways. Good sized village and accommodations.
Take a look!

DM me and I’ll edit those out so you can take full credit because they’re absolutely perfect…Frameworks makes the most sense, Amurka and all that
Speaking of Finn, I'm surprised no BC based outlets scooped that he got injured until he posted it on ig

Sacha E got a Monster deal
It takes some real talent to kill a discipline everyone already does by default
This!
That they couldnt translate the hype of modern mountain biking is remarkable. Ripping insane trails in far-flung locales and it’s a snooze!
Mountain States Cup Race Report for Grand Targhee. This new (revived) series is making it's name known. Next up Purgatory!
