Kinda insane how quiet he went after Hardline. His clips are some of the most unhinged, epic clips of all freeride. It would be so goated if he just went radio silent the entire rehab and swooped back in with a banger edit. He's def entering 'ur fav rider's fav rider' territory. Just good to watch
Seems like a risky strategy for a brand, at any stage, but especially when trying to get back into the race scene.
If the price is right they might figure it is worth it.

For the crowd looking to buy Unno, they may not know or care about the situation surrounding him over any perceivable performance advantage or (more than likely) just buying something that's a bit more of a status symbol or a bit more Objet D'art. You know, the "This bike i bought cost 15k that i just had laying around" crowd. Don't get me wrong, they look like rad bikes and I bet they ride great, but they are most definitely a luxury item when the frame costs what you can get a solid super bike build from other good brands with minimal gains.
Given that, it's likely not as big a risk by Unno to pick up Daprela as it would be for larger brands who need to market to a wider audience where public opinion matters more for sales.
(i'll just chime in quickly since my friend had one. i think it was a dream bike for her, and i always wanted to try one, and it was not a 'great to live with' bike. especially if you're an actual rider. but yeah multiple issues and any issue requiring a part to be sent out was a hassle partly for reasons out of Unno's control obviously... but i would be nice to not need that service so often. She just ditched it and hopped on a Bronson... 🤷♂️)

Do we have any idea who the XC Unno rider is? That would help figure out if the DH rider based on height. The small image looks like if could be Dak but doesn’t also seem like 100% him. Something seem just off. It’s the eyes shape that’s makes me say no it not Dak.

Sounds like he's got something new lined up.. Especially since he's excited to announce what's next.. Maybe a better offer came along or a brand he feels better aligned with...
I was just talking about propain the other day vs YT. Not to get to far into the YT weeds again in this thread, but they play in the same sandbox, are likely similar in actual size of business and have pretty much the same type of model line up. But Propain has likely played a proper hand with who and what they can support. I wonder if they're just feeling the pinch right now and they just need to make sure they're financially stable moving to get over the hump.
Supporting Carson and Remy is likely pricey and with one of them with likely the most massive social media following in mountain biking, I'm sure if they're looking to cut down on budget, Carson can get a better deal elsewhere.
