1. Amaury should heal instead of going all in. But he is a madman (in the good way) and wants to prove he can. If it goes wrong his carrier could be over.

2. Closing a feature to a single group of contestants alone is wrong. Build a course that is rideable for everyone! Also junior woman.

3. I am refering to "Mooving the Needle" podcast and because I have written it somewhere before that. Abolish the juniors categories as a single main event and instead let them all race together. Let it make 60 Places for men an 25-30 for woman. Those top riders that are among those places should race in the finals. Vouilloz won everything as a junior. Or you are a good racer or you are not. Your age should not be important. Look at the Alran brothers times. Easy top 5 potential.

4. Yeah, it's a bit against WB. But not like you think. I dont want the Freecaster or RedBull days back. What I want is a sport broadcastet for the real fans, not for a mass audiance. It did not work in ski and it will not work for DH. Broadcasts as they are now are made for neither. It's shit if you dont know and it's shit if you know.

5. That's just personal and because I think that's how it should be. Do not limit the participants to 200. Make it 500 and let it be a sport for the masses. There is no need to have 30 riders in 4 seconds. It does not ad to the fun of watching. It's only when you see some strugle (not hurt himself or even die) that you can apreciate the very best. With the actual system you only see the very best, it does not ad to the WOW factor.

6. To all riders: Have a good race. I am really looking forward to the LaThuile track. Can't wait for the first images! Have fun

3. Nope. Juniors are there for a reason: to get used to World Cups. It’s a big step from nationals or continentals to a Worldcup, so it’s absolutely fine to give them time to feel at home.

Not all juniors are Alrans, Hölls, Williams or Goldstones who dominate a whole category from the start.

This generation of talent mostly compares their times to the elites anyway.

So build a go around (with an obvious time penalty) for the juniors, or anyone for that matter, that aren’t up to hitting the big features. Wanna hit it? Hit it. Don’t want to? Don’t. They should be able to make that choice on their own. But that’s just like, my opinion man.

Regardless, this has got to be the most looked forward to track in a really long time. Racings going to be insane. I really hope they film qualis this round. Would be a huge shame if they don’t.

You didn't read the initial post did you?

Other than that, sure let everyone hit the features if they feel up to. Especially the female juniors are mostly smarter than their male counterparts when it comes to knowing your own limits. 😄

Given what he's recovering from and that track, that's really impressive...

Gwin had some impressive splits- 5th and 6th at the first two. Wonder if he had a mistake 1/2 way down….  Cool to see him back up to speed

ha fr its like the effect of a 'bright' overcast day. bright but no dynamic shadows trying to kill you. looks fun.

So it looks like the night stage turned out pretty cool, I could see one of the urban DH races be a night thing at some point.

I dont gett it. Do really so many people have extra subscriptions to look at the races? I will happily look at the timing sheets and wwarch the higlights. I will not see many riders and so not many sponsors. It's probably the effect of hiding behind the paywall. Dislike if you habe a subscription, like if you dont.

it's 5.99 chf per month in switzerland, or 1/3 of a döner kebab. or a cappucino.

I have been keeping an eye on this also, the Whoop UCI youtube account has always had issues with the live streams they set up days in advance. This year, they have always proceeded to take that live stream down and create a new one 5 minutes into juniors.

So maybe they are trying to avoid that? Hopefully.
If they fail to livestream juniors again, I'll car bomb Chris Balls truck hahah

lol they didnt even bother leaving comments on for the instagram post about taking junior livestream off youtube and putting it on streaming services instead.

they still intend to upload the finished broadcast to youtube after... but... why even bother changing it now? classic case of losing a ton of good will for almost no benefit to the broadcaster/service.

some egghead figures this will move the needle for an uptick in subs? surrre bud lol
