Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
They wanted to, but from what I've heard a large part of R&D resources went into the development of the bike diaper...
That steel magic, eh?
Neko seems to have implied that his steel front triangles were too complaint for a dual crown fork, but then again hes racing WCs
New fork just came in today well ahead of release, time to do some testing…
I keep saying that 13/4" .049 worked great for me, but tradition says that they have to be skinnier.
Dang you got #25!
Looks like FOX wont be the only ones with gold on the front of bikes this year 👀 the return of Ti Nitrate??
Yeah I could totally understand the first Frameworks steel being laterally too soft at speeds of Neko and Asa. I believe they will have a new version that is stiffer to test. This frame has a large downtube than normal, also double butted tubing.
I am not familiar with patent filing, why would the patent being awarded to them be a bad thing? Limitation in development at other companies?
Patents have become a joke. Apple literally patented a "rectangle with rounded corners" and then sued Samsung for over a billion dollars. Also, remember when Knolly tried to sue Intense because the seat tube intersects the downtube at a reasonable angle, and even claimed that Intense engineers "examined" Knolly bikes to steal this tech (Knolly's patent is so absurd that 90% of all mountain bikes from all companies "violate" it)
Here we go again.....
I always thought the 05 boxxer world Cup was one of the best looking forks with the chrome stanchions.
Getting DVO Emerald vibes from the green ones... LOL
New Mongoose?

Raaaaaaaddd. I hear podium gold is at least 15% faster.
Well I guess that disproves my tinfoil hat theory that the factory Rockshox riders were running DLC coated stanchions.
A chrome finish, while they look cool, pretty much have to be on steel stanchions. I had a domain in 2010, with those steel & chrome stanchions, and it wasn't that much heavier than the alternative for 180mm single crown, and even shared the same damping as the lower model Totem (the alternative). I beat the crap out of those lowers, but the steel stanchions could take a solid hit without even a scratch. I wonder if its possible to do steel stanchions, but somehow lighter, now that its been a decade.
I thought she has been testing a high pivot Tues
I wonder if we will get graphics back on stanchions. Id like to see that more. Especially for riders who are winning on their products, seeing graphic designs inspired by them on the stanchion. Totally not exactly innovation/tech, but cool stuff none the less.
Maybe some adjustment in the link, and integrated bumpers
First Haro, now Mongoose? Two surprising revivals.
Has anyone else seen this fork before? Getting some BOS suspension vibes from the stickers.
It’s on the RST website
Man in 2008 I lusted after the Mongoose Khyber.
Something seems a little different about this one...
AKA Really Shitty Technology
Wasn't sure if this was posted yet or not, but some more shots of the prototype ENVE rims on the Frameworks IG:

No details, just pictures.
Looks like the regular Stumpy Evo to me
Charlie Murray did a bike check the other day and is on the current Stumpjumper Evo again for the upcoming season, albeit a speckled yellow frame.
