Tuhoto moving on from Union.

I was really hoping for Tohuto to Syndicate. But I suppose that Laurie and Jackson would be hard for them to pass up.

Good question! I remember seeing him on track at Windrock's National race in 2019 and thinking he was Charlie Harrison because he was so pinned! He pulled over right beside me and I had to straight up ask him "who the heck are you!?!?!". He would have been 5th in Pro that weekend.

I hope he got things sorted after his big concussion (in 2019 I believe).

Greg won't be around much longer. Also, Kathy was probably happy with the 3 lads and didnt want to mess with the environment that she liked. But she probably doesnt make any final decisions on roster...

Love it when people write Greg won’t be around much longer…… the same Greg that is the current world champ! just let the guy keep riding… he has a lot more years left in him. why walk away when your still a contender!?
Greg is 40. He has been traveling all over the world spending long periods of time away from from for over half his life. It may have less to do with results but getting worn out. Getting a 40 year old body ready for WC season is not easy. I don’t think we he will quit because he is bad but more because he may want to take a step back. I fully expect a goodbye season like Peaty had once he decides to step away.

Yeah, 40 and still showing the young guns how it’s done. He has said in interview lately he has no plans in retirement yet. no doubt there is probably people on the circuit that are probably in better shape, but can’t the put it together like Greg does on race day…. There’s only a handful of riders can. Being 40 years old doesn’t mean sh*t! That said, he doesn’t have to do anything else for the sport…. He is still the best rider of all time period!

Might be a bit of a far fetched idea, But tuhoto could end up wherever George is going?

UR team maybe?

Mondraker.. propain… there’s a few spots out there that were open. the kids a ripper… be interesting to see where he ends up. I’m sure the guy running the union team said in a interview that he was staying, so a deal must of come through later on.
Mondraker is down a rider and Tuhoto being on the team with the bulldog would be sick

The issue is that often there isn't anything to do but wait and see if (if not when...) it gets better.

The concussion podcast on The Inside Line was a good one regarding this.

Mondraker is down a top dog rider on their second contract, I wonder how much budget that freed up at MS. I'm sure it's possible they have room for two up and comers if Laurie had a big contract.

Hasn't Dave Trummer been linked to MS Mondraker?
He's a top dog these days and should be getting paid similarly to what Laurie was.

Barelli posted a story with covered up shock and crank, which I think heavily points to the one company that makes both.

Also about Ethan Sandro, is he the first second generation star racer, ie like father like son? I know Brunis father has been racing whole life but he was never the Shandro caliber star of the sport with kid jumping ahead in big steps?

To the speculations on the Syndicate PB article, whether Peaty will be on the team's Fox clothing or just do this thing in his own Royal gear with TLD helmets, comes this comment from the official TLD account on PB: ”Yes, big bummer, but we wish Steve the best.”.

So who assumed that he'll play a bigger role this year, as a top level line scout and all, could be right.

He did say 'nope' to someone suggesting CC. He could be bluffing. But he still hasn't announced a component manufacture yet? So could be a few names to name in his announcement?

Sławomir Łukasik saying goodbye to NS Bikes in his recent post. After his performances last year I bet he is moving on to a much bigger brand.

Different as in different suspension and different crank suppliers?

I guess that rules out Intend 😂

That pic is taken inside Specialized HQ in Morgan Hill. That is Robert Eggers "toy collection" around her.

Old news, she is all but signed. Don't know why there hasn't been an official announcement as she was a privateer last year.

Not that this is constructive in anyway but John and Eli Tomac might beg to differ.

Marketing want to pick the right day and time, probably time it with other announcements as well.

Barelli on Extreme Shock
I can't see how this ties in to the 'locally sourced' though, even if it's true. An Italian brand, granted they are amazing, but with everything else being so close to home.. puzzling.

There are also more than a few examples on the road side of the sport.

Gary Fisher has kids all over the west coast, maybe some of them are good riders. They may not know who their father is, though.
