I get the clue.
Heisenberg isn't really dead, he funding Gwin's move to KTM/Audi/Redbull/Rocky Mountain.
Or is it YT, or is it Trek, or is it Specialized?
Either way, Whiteley is Heisenberg and Finkle is Einhorn.

While I respect her, I would never have that whiny ass riding for my brand/team
Who is this Amanda Batty you are talking about? Emily's sister?
She's a nice girl. She really is. And a pretty good rider. Just super mega vocal about anything that pops into her head. So I guess she's sorta like me...only a girl, not a guy.
Anyway, since you asked - here is a link to her blog.

I'm new to this stuff. Has Gwin changed bikes before? Does he adapt pretty quickly?
He took some time figuring out how to ride a Specialized. But once he had it down it obviously worked. But since the FSR patent is expired, he can take his custom linkage geometry to any "Looks like a Spec," company.

I'll bet a couple beers that whatever Gwin is riding this year, the company will be making a one off frame mold for the man (or a few) so he can get whatever ride characteristics he wants and needs to be fast. Specialized did it for him, no reason another company wouldn't cough up the bones for the perfect bike for him. The price for podiums eh...

Just nod at the screen Aaron, you know it's true.
Specialized sure did. Only after a full season of being off the pace. At some point that first season didn't Gwin try running their trail bike in search of something that would work for him?
But then again, Specialized likely doesn't have the resources of an industry giant like YT.
I'm American, and a big fan of UCI DH. I'm excited we once again have one of the fastest riders and I root for Aaron. My point is, forget the team/bike drama. I just hope Gwin has been able to put some serious time in on whatever it is he'll be racing this year. Nobody (probably Gwin included) is gonna care how much money his contract is for if he has another season where cracking the top 10 is a serious challenge.
Or maybe the guys behind Vital here are making deals with Gwin and his new team to hold off on announcing it since their forum readership has skyrocketed from the speculation. Before too long they will be living on yachts floating on the indoor pools of their huge mansions they will be buying with all their Ad revenue.
I just enjoy adding crazy fuel into the fire that is this forum thread....

Back into the conspiracy web I go,....
we asked gwin to not even race this season, just to keep this thread alive for the entire year. he wasn't into the idea for some reason.

Now when is Gwin going to announce his team so I can stop paying attention?!
Had to giggle a bit at the length of this thread (and the OP who brought my name into it), but it's damn good seeing your name up there, Jeff.
Dbullard was correct in assauging Dave T's concern as well, but who cares?! Micayla is on DB, Rach and Casey are on Trek, Em and Fi are retired, and Gwin hasn't announced and it's freaking JANUARY. Come on. Far more interesting stuff to chat about.

as long as you're not the one "chatting" things are far more interesting.
