Anyway what did he say?
No it didn't, but the strap on that safety pad sure as shit did!

How about some of these up-and-comers/no-names in the quali results!?

Dean Lucas 4th, Mark Wallace 17th, and Luca Shaw doin it for the USofA qualifying 22nd. Oh, and who the hell is Rudy Caribou in 13th?!?

One of my favorite things about the first race of the season is seeing the field get shaken up a bit!

Yeah. I'm still wondering what kind of upper body armour he is wearing... looks like the same as last year despite his 661 sponsor.

Anyone knows?

It has been in the past. Don´t know if it´s changed - miraculously there's no whining about it. Maybe it comes in handy at this kind of course.
Bruni though has always been wearing it - at least from what I saw last season

Dainese Rhyolite jacket. He is one of the few riders that regularly wears body armour for races. Makes sense, as it could make the difference between being battered and bruised and missing a whole season due to injury.

unfortunately there were some serious computer problems w/ the crew, so the show won't be up until 10am or noon (cali time) tomorrow. but like straightshot said, it'll be worth the wait!

There is a new 661 protection jacket out this year - it's a prototype.
