Cube DH bike...will be released later today
In all honesty, no real mtb-er cares about some cube copy-cat junk. Considering the quality lvl of their products and the quality lvl of their frame/susp design, one must be a bloddy ignorat to ride such crap bikes.
Case in point, when the stereo team edition is 5800 euro on bike24 and I can take it with as little as 2700 euro from a local shop, you guys do the math!, from where comes the price diff?, if the shop still makes 10% at 2700 euro, what's with the up-market prices for these crappy bikes with bad kinematics?(in simple words, bad bike feel..unsofisticated and flat); what is the real value of them?
So, pls, everyone, stop promoting/discussing any 💩 with kashima coating on it. For real, some bike-brands should not be discussed or used(for that matter).
That's a bit harsh, they are coming along well in terms of looks of the bikes (used to be hideous, now just boring), and they sponsor great riders in the EWS and have gotten a handful of good results out of them. I also really appreciate that they are one of the few brands sold in-store that compete with the online brands like yt/canyon/commencal on price. Which, if anything, makes me mostly wonder about the margins of the other in-store brands.
Definitely not my next purchase, but worth covering surely.
Also why is the forum super hostile and negative today?

As long as they ask 6k euros for a bike that shops can sell at 2700 and still make a profit, I'll resent them with all my heart. If they would be honest and ask 3.5k euro msrp, then, ppl would know what is the real value of their new kashima blinged bike. I just really hate their imposture!
My head is going to explode if we keep seeing production quality norco bikes without seeing any official release
I was told by a reputable source that they ran into production headaches like a few other brands due to covid and every brand trying to squeeze as much out of all the factory's as they can, same reason Cannondale ended up pushing back their model year. Apparently Norco had a few bikes to put out and has had to delay official release for that reason. I think crankworx whistler was the intended date before it was cancelled.

Im not a fan of the hate on so called copy cat junk, If a specific design works then it works and I'd rather have a proven suspension design that ten other bikes use than a unique one thats crap. Do you look at dirt bikes and go "oh look at all that copy cat junk! Honda needs to learn to make they're bike look different." like I said if it works it works! the reason the DHF is copied so much is because it works so well! I cant attest to the build quality of Cube bikes but I can say the Geometry is spot on! the build specs are very good too! also I think it looks beautiful !

Not too sure what the geo is as I haven't seen it but i do tend to think the new bikes coming out are starting to get a little out of hand with the reach. Remember, the longer the front center, the shorter you want your reach as it's more bike to lift up front... This would definitely apply to the two15 as it's a dh bike.
Its not cutting edge progressive numbers but its by no means short, its an average reach number for todays bikes. also did someone poop in your shoe this morning cuz this conversations quickly becoming a confrontations hahaa!
also also, my 2020 Tues is a 435 reach on a medium aswell and it fits me very well its a nice balance of a playful nimble bike thats also good at raw DH, I think reach is a balance too long and its only good for steep rough DH but too short and its only good for freeride bike park/ jumps.

I tend to quickly become unreasonable whenever this brand comes into discussion. I really-really, from the bottom of my heart, hate it!

The longer the front centre the longer the reach is. Otherwise either your stack is getting higher or your headtube angle slacker.
Regarding the Cube hate, I think there are many other brands that deserve the hate more than they do. I can't attest to their build quality and I haven't looked at the geo numbers, but from what I saw they have a good kit for a decent price, which is at least something.

I mean, this is the rumors thread, not the hate on brands from the bottom of your heart thread. Feel however you want about brands, but that's unnecessary. You don't even give a reason for your issue, just that you don't like them and they suck with some generic complaining about things that affect a ton of brands, some much bigger than cube.

I have also told you guys a rumor.., 26+ hours until a new nukeproof is released and 74+ hours until another new nukeproof is realeased. So, two new nukeproofs this week
.
Two more major races won on the new Maxxis Shorty (still not announced).
Holl and Trummer both ran them for their Crankworx wins.
You can see the tires on Vali's bike at 28:10min: https://youtu.be/iDZg0b90sNc?t=1690
(she has them on front and rear, but I believe she raced with the Shorty up front and DHRII out back.

I have heard this has been a huge problem with components, not just frames. Some companies appear to have loads of frames ready but there aren't enough brakes/drivetrains/suspension bits to go around. That may be why you see production-level frames that aren't released yet, as the teams probably had a contract for XX components and got them delivered first.

If you put like that, +24 hours extra for each.
As for components, working in an industry that connects with biking industry, I can confirm that delievery terms for components are higher than ever, 8-9+ months. And if one manufacturer struck a deal with sram or shimano or sunrace or whatever..it will not matter the fact that they have the frames already build, as they have no means to complete them.
Maybe I have put it a little more pretentious than it is/I should. I buy bikes for a retailer..but not ones that either of us would like to ride(I buy cheap ones, for the masses...supermarket bikes); the components situation applies for all type though..from the high end ones to the the oh so cheap ones a mtber can't really consider it a bike.

yes but the reach is not the only thing that affects front center... axle to crown, head angle and stack does so as well...
Looks good but I'm just as interested in the new "T" casings and compounds from Specialized, their current offerings are hugely underrated in my opinion.

Idk, I hated my butchers. Slow at rolling and bad at cornering
