It's not like Moir is a slouch. Looking at his form during 2017 he is capable of challenging Gwin for victories if he can stay injury free. If Moir is up to speed in 2019 it should make for a very interesting season :-)
Edit - not sure why I've been downvoted. I didn't make this stuff up. I remember Gwin saying he would rather have a younger rider as a teammate who he can mentor and develop, rather than a rival who adds more pressure to a race weekend. If I have time I'll try to find the interview.
It wasn't Gwin who said it.
Vital fans will remember that Martin Whiteley was the one who mentioned it (a younger rider to mentor and develop) on his Inside Line podcast this year.

Aren’t both Harrison and Hall locals to Temecula / Murrieta area? And hasn’t Harrison spent the first month or two of off season down under with Dean and Moir surfing? His recent posts could indicate Nik Nesteroff may be a teammate. ... I know this isn’t the case, just saying tags or shots of buddies together doesn’t mean teammates for the upcoming season.
That said, I was hoping for an Intense Gwinship three years ago when he left the Big S. I didn’t think he would go to YT with their type of party persona and vibe.

Charlie is from OC but still close enough. Also he was on the Trek development team under Gwin.
Just seen this in reeco Wilson’s insta. Trek ticket?

Possibly, but he was on Trek/Unior Tools for a few years, and they had the all black bikes with white logos as their thing at that time so it could just be a hang over from that.
Trek does seem likely though. He’s been on their bikes before, has had by the looks of it a good relationship with Trek previously (custom painted ticket and remedy) and Ruaridh Cunningham (who got him onto Unior/Trek) is a big mentor of his and is on Trek Factory Enduro...

well, go and check my posts of the last seasons, any mistake when I'm said that is confirmed.
Sorry, Claudstradamus! I did not know of your existence. Please spare me of your wrath! What does the crystal ball tell you; will you be able to forgive a cheeky mortal like I am?

Interesting if true. Magnus used to be on Devinci, Reece used to be on Unior Tools, Dakota Norton is currently on the Devinci/Unior Factory team, Reece said on the Downtime Podcast that he was going to be on a full factory team with a couple other young guys... Dakota, Reece and Magnus to be the Devinci/Unior factory team next year? They already have a 29” DH bike so that would suit, and they’ve all been factory SRAM in past seasons...
Fun fact, Dakota Norton follows me on Instagram, I’m not really sure why but he likes my photos once in a while - i’ll Ask him if he’s got any rumours.

Ratboy was still on Santa Cruz the other day on his insta-story. He was riding the new 5010.
on which pic did you see that? except the new adidas logo on brendogs clothes there seems to be not that much of a change
On the 3rd pic along its Brendo's bike with Michelins and Fox forks on the front on the right of the picture, maybe he got a puncture and Cam Zink lent him a new tyre haha

Ps: What rim is that also on his bike ?
Good sleuthing there!
Definitely not Enve rims unless there's something new in the works. Quite the mismatch of parts there. TRP brakes with Shimano rotors, Fox fork with an Eagle drivetrain, new tires, new wheels. Testing time? Glad someone is trying to make things interesting. This "might" hold me over till something solid comes out.
C'mon, doesn't anyone else have something new they heard from a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who knows Gwin's/Atherton's UPS/Fedex/DHL guy?
The Final episode for Season 2 of The Fast Life is up on Redbull TV, at the end Finn Iles' mechanic Kevin Joly hinted that Finn could be riding for Commencal for 2019. "Specialized front end and Commencal Rear end" where his exact words, or what i could hear from the french accent.

Could be a rumor, but I think it was just a comment on the camera setup they were using (sony body with canon lens).
