Giant Factory Off-Road Team 2017 Oficial release:

https://www.giant-bicycles.com/global/news/strong-mix-of-veterans-and-y…
"The core of the team, including six-time Colombian downhill champion Marcelo Gutierrez and Australian enduro specialist Josh Carlson, will return for 2017, and at least three new riders will be added to the roster."

"While the core of the team remains the same for 2017, French riders Yoann Barelli and Guillaume Cauvin, along with Spaniard Alex Marin and American Seamus Powell will depart at the end of the year."

" In enduro racing, Vezina will step up to become a full-fledged member of the Giant Factory Off-Road enduro squad. And for downhill racing, Gutierrez will be joined by young talents Jacob Dickson, a four-time junior national champion in Ireland, and Eliot Jackson, a former motocross racer from the U.S. who scored top-10 results at two Crankworx DH events last year. BOOSH!!! stay tuned for a great, long-format interview we did with Eliot dropping in a couple weeks. He seemed stoked for the move.

I wouldn't be surprised if Yo Barelli leave Giant. His post on Instagram are ... strange.

He has also made a post about not riding for 100% anymore, so I guess he's leaving the giant off-road team.

*virtual high five*
Now let's guess where he's going! It has been mentioned here that he might be going to Commencal. Would kind of fit as they don't have a male rider fughting for podiums. But it could be anything as Yo scored some really good results last year!

Barelli was on Dakine + Northface shoes (like Ravanel) + etc already a few weeks ago:

Plus he followed Commencal, Max Commencal, etc ages ago

Enough of the rumors, from what we´ve seen, it´s technically safe Smile )

Could this have something to do with the blue oval in that poem?

Ford couldn't fix it so they circled it and high lighted it in blue Wink Smile

Vergier just signed with Fox a few weeks ago...and I think I recall TLD mentioning they're still supporting Shaw despite the TLD SRAM team dissolving.

Just received the January issue of "Velovert" (french magazine) and there is an extensive ITW of Vergier (and Laurent Delorme and Minnaar).

So Syndicate is confirmed to be Minnaar, Vergier and Shaw. Peaty is out (obviously) but will be helping at a few WC. Nothing confirmed for Bryceland, but Minnaar's ITW was pointing strongly to Ratboy still on Syndicate but not racing WC anymore.

There was also confirmation that Bruni and Iles will stay on Gravity Republic, but they will be joined by Miranda Miller.

Oh, and Vergier as been discussing also with Devinci (before they decide to stop the team) and to ride alongside "a famous British rider"... So any idea who this could be, and which team ?

i have a theory, and that is all it is, that brosnan goes to chain reaction/nukeproof. Posted something to instagram with him and sam hill together on a podium from an old race. would be cool to see those two back together.

As has been said before...Troy is deffo going to Canyon. Don't think we'd ever see a Hill/Brosnan partnership again!

The chances of nukeproof not having a dh team must be very very slim. They were so happy when sam won a world cup on the pulse. Plus they have Nigel running the team and they have Jones, who together could definitely win a world cup under the right settings. They spent years getting the bike up to speed. Plus they still make aluminium frames, cutting the cost by three quarters compared to nearly every other frame brand
