8/27/2025 10:37am I thought I'd seen it all... But then I saw someone hate on Bgoldstone in the Vital forums. A dark day indeed. (I can only assume they tagged the wrong person? Bgoldstone might be the most objective info, non-opinionated poster in the entire forum.)

8/27/2025 10:07am les gets riders lists are back 1 page. roger is on the list. here's link to pdf - https://chronorace.blob.core.windows.net/webresources/20250821_mtb/entr… if a post gets 10 downvotes (i think that's the threshhold), it gets hidden and you can manually unhide it.

8/26/2025 3:06pm there was a fair amount buzz at crankworx this year that there won't be another crankworx, and that red bull pulled out of joyride for 2026. put the WC there instead? hoping it's not true.

8/17/2025 12:03pm From a safety standpoint, that obviously doesn't make sense. It sounds like the only reason a helicopter needs to be involved is so the race doesn’t get held up when someone stacks. Screw all the people practicing, unless they’re on the clock…

8/17/2025 7:13am My friends daughter was 3rd to go in the lineup. They allowed practice to happen. She got 3 runs in and was ready to go. They allowed practice but not the race…? 🤔

8/15/2025 7:48pm I can't wait for the next race cuz this thread is going off the rails lol If the speed suit is such a game changer, why was Jackson dunking on everyone pre-speedsuit in juniors? Why are Tahnee and Nina not dunking on their fields with such a large advantage? (Are they just THAT bad?) Why was Gracey destroying them in Dharco gear? Why is Vali still leading the overall in that like in-house YT gear? Why isn't Specialized making one for Loic? Does it help? Yes. Is it the reason Jackson is winning? ... No. If anything I'd like to...

8/15/2025 7:48pm I don't agree with your conclusions at all, but even if we entertain them. 1) Ski racing is some of the raddest gravity fed racing in the world if you have any understanding of it at all, so having some similarity to ski racing is not necessarily a bad thing. 2) If you think all skiers look the same or have identical style, you have not yet taken the time or energy to actually learn the sport. Thats fine, but people who follow it can immediately know who certain skiers are based simply by their style/technique. Skiers don't all look...

8/15/2025 7:46pm It’s actually been my plan for a long time to supplement with an Optic. If I decide to turn the Range into a downhill bike, I’ll probably get a Sight with a trail build instead. Decisions decisions…

8/15/2025 7:05pm I’m not sure that Norco is actually dropping the Optic, but I do know that it didn’t sell as well as the Sight. The average customer just doesn’t understand a high pivot, small travel bike. As an Optic owner, I can tell you that it’s the most fun trail bike I’ve ever ridden, but the majority of riders are unwilling to give if a chance since they equate high pivot with big, heavy bikes. Too bad—it’s an awesome bike, one I won’t give up anytime soon.

8/15/2025 7:04pm Don't replace with a Sight, supplement! Both the Range and carbon Fluid went away. With the Optic going away it's becoming a very skinny premium lineup. Per Majso's point, the Sight and Optic were so darn close that I almost wonder if they could have come up with a 140mm rear version of the Sight on the same FT/RT and called in their high pivot trail bike with a little bit lighter builds. Running the Optic and Fluid side by side in carbon was always an odd choice, there was going to be a lot of overlap even if the...

8/15/2025 6:43am They stopped making it last year actually. They put a longer travel Sight in its place. I have that Range and it’s just phenomenal. I’ve contemplated getting a Sight to replace it. Shed some weight and get some more playfulness. Not worth it to sell in this market, and it’s just too damn good… Probably going to put a dual...
