Timbud, here are some tips on how to get the most performance and durability out of your rear wheel. Easton wheels can be ridden with good bearing performance for years, however this does require tightening the hub’s preload adjuster the proper amount if it comes loose. This is very simple to do with a single cone wrench—with the wheel on or off the bike. You should only have to do this after the initial break in period or as your bearings begin to wear over time. Crap, my Havocs are 2012, but aren't compatible (from the serial # and lockring check anyway). What do I do to get the bearings that will last?

Wait you mean I don't need a bike with multiple pivots to ride fast on? For the last 15 years that is what I have been told by the Marketing Machines from many MTB companies. MAN........ who would have thought.

When I first saw an ad for a Carbon Nomad, I thought to myself, "This must be a joke, carbon is for road bikes." Well, obviously carbon is not just for the lycra set anymore.
