Be careful. The number of times a "grown-up" has thought he knows what's "Best" for a kid, and has backfired is currently at 23 hundred billion. Starting with Ogg jr, whose uncle wanted him to be a dinosaur hunter at age 16, all the way up to Gianni Italia Jr, who was a very fast talented MTB rider and when...

If you're being sarcastic, well, it's just that Microsoft Paint is free. It is also fast and easy to illustrate a concept or idea. If somebody wants authentic FEA, that's not fast or easy, so it can't be free. I love the idea of making things in the US, but not at the expense of accepted principles.

The least material in the highest stress area. Somebody playing around, designing cranks in Microsoft Paint, rather than an Engineer using SolidWorks with an FEA suite.

If you have access to a CNC (in-house or a closely integrated supplier) and you have the knowledge to do CNC'd parts while you don't have a metal 3D printing machine and little to no knowledge on the design of 3D printed metal parts... They compare favourably. Even more so when it comes to proto stuff where you don't want to deal with new technologies (you remake an old frame for that) but you're dealing with a new product. You don't want to test manufacturing processes, you want to test out the new geometry.

OnlyFans have been trying to change for a while and even announced a ban on adult content at one point. The backlash was so quick and loud that they had to reverse the decision. Their quest is not altruistic though, they want an IPO and the only way they will get it is by breaking the association with adult content. Back to the subject of LB specifically, the UCI is headed by a bunch of rich white guys (I am one as well) who are embarrassed/upset by women taking control of their sexuality(I am not one of those). The historical...

Just a floating brake mount. You can see the connecting rod below the chainstay. It's nice to see a quick and dirty prototype in the wild instead of one that someone wasted time making look good just for proof of concept testing.

1) I swapped from a 12 speed AXS to an old school 11 speed and at least in my head I could feel the .5# unsprung weight loss. The suspension felt more supple and quicker to react. It wasn't a money issue nor was the AXS giving me any trouble, but I genuinely prefer the 11 speed's performance. 2) The proper solution for an e-bike is a combo motor/ transmission. The extra drag isn't a big deal cause you have a motor, and the extra weight, at the center of the frame but in exchange for vastly improved drivetrain wear/...

I see no option, other than for Frameworks / Mullaly to grab anyone they can to ride the bike(s). Is there a fast, "semi self funded" rider out there, with an empty calendar? I wouldn't know, but it would be worth cheering on.
