Being nice to the employees at your friendly local bike shops! They can't speed up overseas raw materials production, adjust the value of national currencies or prevent cargo ships from sinking, so, even though it's a bummer the bike service queue is 3 weeks long or your new bike won't be in for a month, let them know you appreciate what they do for our communities! That would mean the world to a lot of us... We can only work with ETAs given to us by the suppliers.. And that info seems to change on the daily.. We really would...

I have been tinkering with XT, SLX, and Deore 12sp this year, and I 100% agree with you. I could not get along with the SLX 4 piston brakes, but other than that, its been great. I did have the same initial brake rattle on the brakes, and also the creaking from the shimano driver body. Now if they could only make a matchmaker/ispec mount to fit my SRAM Code brakes to the Shimano shifter!!!

Hey Tom, if your bike feels good, I bet your settings are "correct"! Part of what I love about the Scout is the versatility and how it can behave like so many different kinds of bikes. When I moved from the very rocky terrain of Reno to the faster, more jump oriented trails of Boise, I did add a token to my Lyrik to get a touch more ramp. You see these small women racers like Isabeau Courdurier who is like 105 pounds rocking a zeb and l would think that a Lyrik would be lighter, more forgiving and an overall better choice for someone like her. I could be wrong and obviously shes a better rider than l am. I also know that sponsored racers have to use what they are told to.

12/16/2020 11:31am Switched from a 2020 Fox 36 Grip to a ZEB Ultimate on my 2020 Meta AM 29. There is definitely a difference in the feel, which I mainly attribute to a difference in feel from a Fox to a RS fork. I did have to add another token to the fork, so I am at 2 token on a 170mm...

I went from a lyric to a zeb and the main thing I noticed was the extra weight up front.
