The only thing I hate about Vital RAW is they are never long enough. 52 seconds? Not long enough. 17 minutes? Not long enough. Every second of practice, qualifying, and competition? Still not long enough. Yeah, I know my standards are impossible to meet, but when you got something this good, there's never enough of it.

3/16/2015 8:16pm I wish I had helmet cam footage of my run down this course for a side by side comparison. It would be pretty funny, and a bit depressing, to see how much faster he is. Gwin is going so fast on this course it amazes me. Aaron, I Hope you have a great year of racing!

As a member of the "core audience" I was wondering why the commentary was so subdued for the 2014 season. This post answer that! And, I for one, do not like it! I do not need know stats/info about that riders and their team. I need to be reminder to look at the time and to reflect on the size of Danny Hart's balls. Stoked that Robs got a regular gig though.

The whole reason the freecaster commentary was so awesome was because he was excited and screaming about people and a sport he knows really well in a field he's passionate about. It ruled because it WASN'T trained subdued crap. That already exists everywhere and what warner brought was way more real. See recent rampage commentary if you really think redbull knows what they're doing here. Red Bull likes to pride themselves on unique, one of a kind events, why don't they want a unique, one of a kind commentator any more? Oh well.....

Watered down Warner is still way better than pretty much any other sports commentary I've ever heard. His personality still comes through. My personal favorite Warner-ism........"He's on the rampage, like a dog with two dicks, here this afternoon!" (about Sam Hill, I think it was the 2009 World Cup final at Schladming if I recall correctly)

Please Rob KEEP the excitement and thrill of it all in the commentating. Red Bull might want you to clean it up, but damn, you keep the enthusiasm to keep the spectators loving it!

That old commentary was like watching the race with the buds after a great ride. It had flavor! And it was authentic and genuine. You could feel the tension, and connect with it. The racers are racing on the edge of disaster, and the screaming and yelling payed homage to those risks. I've never been a fan of a commentator before. P
