bturman - How does the new Patrol handle at slower speeds in tight technical trail sections? Also any noticeable differences in climbing? Ive been on the Patrol since its release and absolutely love the bike, just wondering if the new changes make less of a trail bike and more of a resort bike...thanks

bturman - Can you give us an idea of how does the Patrol compares to the Devinci Spartan and SC Nomad 4?? It would be nice to see a comparison between the 3 bikes Cheers

I came here to see if there was a discussion of your podcasts... I really like them, keep it up! I also really liked this episode, Elayna was interesting and candid. However, I did take exception to the boost comment. No, I'm not a luddite and afraid of change. IMO, and as mp says, the negatives of this new standard outweigh the benefits by a large margin. Not being able to carry over previous equipment (in my case King hubs) is a huge pain in my ass. If the industry had gone to 150mm, a standard that already existed, then...

Not sure why, but for the past few weeks (months? ) when I try and watch Vital videos on my phone, they play in super low resolution, even I'm on WiFi and click the that option. Makes them pretty much unwatchable.

this video was posted literally minutes after it was shot. if you're worried about the editing and not the bikes moving around and riders crushing it, you don't have to watch it.

I hear you guys, and I hope you're right, but I'm skeptical. Already, my rim of choice, the Spank Oozy295, is no longer available in 26". I hope it's temporary, but who knows. Good thing there's still WTB and Stan's. For now. Once I can no longer get light-ish, mid-width, strong rims in 26", no matter how many great tires are out there, it's game over for me. And speaking of tires, it's not just new tread patters that intrigue me, but casings. I'd love more 26" DD tires... [leaves to go check Maxxis' website after reading sspomer's post...] wait...

come on Vital, this comment "Trail-riding hold-outs that comment, "Will your new tire come in 26?" need to embrace the loss of their friend." makes me very sad. it's not just the loss of my friend, it's the cracking open of my wallet. I spent years cobbling my dream bike together. There's no way I could afford the same bike again in another wheel size. when the time comes that I can't buy new rims or tires in 26" (and I think that time is coming faster than you guys care to admit), it's going to suck big time to...

This sucks. I get that he's had a rough season, but ditching the last round of the WC is... unfortunate? why? and why do the enduro races instead? I can't imagine they get that much more exposure for his sponsors than a WC race gets them? Vital, any chance for an interview? that would be awesome.

Really? You think the top DH athletes don't know and do this? I think the biggest difference is that xc has more amateur wannabe athletes that want to "train hard" so they can get a KOM on a local segment... Thanks Strava
