No, not really. Anneke is lauded for her efforts and successes on a bike long before anyone makes a comment about her looks. If anything, this reminds me more of the SI "Bodies" issue. I can't really contribute, but as a bystander here, I'm curious to see if there is a trend in this conversation regarding rider height/inseam (I have a theory). Interesting to hear this feedback from the consumer side of things v. the "pro" side of coin (DH, Enduro, or XC).

I don't personally understand this argument, as there is so much content out there, it doesn't matter. Every season there are tens of team videos ranging from raw to super polished. It's all there, something for everyone. Budget is a big factor too, but it's not hard to produce cinematic-style stuff anymore. Mongoose gets it either way: https://youtu.be/23MxY52mCQ0
