Why do you want us to talk about Aaron and Greg in an article about Sam Hill winning the EWS? Saying that Sam Hill was and is a great champion takes nothing away from any other rider who has also accomplished great things - before OR after Sam.

This is one of the most helpful guides I've read in a while. After the press camp we did up in VT, all I've been thinking about is how to better prepare for big rides (in strong heat). Too bad these folks didn't have expos at the lunch stop on Monday...also, I now want waffles.

Do they really anticipate such novice riders to be that over-confident when using their product that they need to effectively "idiot proof" the vehicle? Or are the proposed designs...

In conversation about this event the other day, I was remarking about how when spectating, there are times when one is like, "Oh, I would ride that! Or I think a lot of people can ride that fast." But, Hardline is one of those events akin to Rampage, where even the riders are like, "I know I can, I just need to do it...right?" Wild riding, it's humbling to see!

To be fair, KHS is very upfront about being a catalogue brand. Their DH started that way, and then the team worked on it with the designers to get it to where it is now. This is really common across the industry.

9/21/2017 9:47am I wrote a 3 paragraph response, but realized a succinct, "No" would suffice re: the title question. For DH to flourish, it needs to be out from under the UCI, plain and simple. The reason Enduro is under the banner is a longer answer. Things like this really bum me out.
