Not a rumor, but very relevant: UCI will return to 2017 start order regulations for 2019!

they already qualified in their home countries. Thats all the qualification that is needed. No need to have another round of qualifiers at Worlds. No reason to cut a small handful of riders out. Just plain sucks for everyone.

So very different, but was reminded of Nicolas Vouilloz's V-Process NV02 from 2002 in Kaprun, mostly because of the color and context of the event. (I did need to google a few of those details)

Two-part answer: Team Owner is just like any other job, it's a business with a product/service which anticipates an ROI. This is done though slightly different methodology relative to a business that sells a physical product a.k.a. the sponsors of the said team, in that the business being run is more or less just a huge marketing machine. As a...

sideshow Added a reply to Not another suspension setup question..

When racing, suspension mechanics line of reasoning suggests you should only be bottoming out 1-3 times (max) on the track - this stands to reason that there is a huge compression/hole/jump (or all three) and that you'd use all of your travel on these features. When riding, for fun lets say, you really shouldn't ever be bottoming out...unless your local...
Strong point. Another good example would be Bernard Kerr at VDS World Champs two years ago, getting fourth after having almost two days less practice. Pros are Pros and get it done, doesn't matter who has had more time on track... Gwin only ever does like 7-10 runs in an entire weekend and most of them are 90% at a...

sideshow Started a new thread Is There a Sweet Spot for Flat Pedal Pin Height?

4/7/2018 3:28am

Historically, Hill has always had a ridiculous set up regarding his pin height. So much so, that...

That was a pretty funny BTS video. And I'm wondering if we'll see Squids on yoga mats here...laying on rocks for a week sounds fun. Similarly, I'm thinking back to the days in MSA when riders were running 40 PSI in their tires... Trummer looked really dialed in the beginning of the team video - precise and accurate riding looks more important than ever.

Mike Levy was clueless on how to properly use the gearbox. I shift going uphill all the time. There is a rather simple technique to it but if you are hell bound on trying to find flaws in the system then I guess you will nitpick it to death. I’m super stoked for Rob on this news with Sam!!!

Credit to Hank for having a reasonable-looking design...aesthetics are the first battleground with anything new! Things I'd like to know more about: Are the two planes independent? If not, where is the threshold for each, and how do they interact? Can we get Antonio to graph this machine? What are your thoughts on similar bikes of the past, like the...
