The DELTA link is my all-time favorite design. Rode Evil's Al and C DH bikes, that suspension design is second to none. We ran coil DHXs on those. Really progressive end stroke. Coil would be amazing on any of the new bikes, I think a lot of people just stick with what comes on the frames/do it for weight savings...

Finally: Rolling Chassis. Took until 2017 for [a high-end brand] to figure that out. Rad.

Killington has stepped it up huge the last several years with their bike park and DH/enduro racing. The optimist in me really, really hopes this is their way of inching a bit closer to bidding on a World Cup.

This is a prime example of staying humble, working hard, and staying true to the cause. You're hard-pressed to find a lot of other well-rounded, grounded, and honest role models in sport and life in general.

Solid feedback! That curve is veryyy close to the Scout's too. I think we'll start to see a lot of those set-ups next season!

I might chuck some more spacers in there, but I think I'm just going to go for it re: the coil. Coming from a DH racing background, I really prefer coil. When I finally got back into trail riding and all my bikes came with Float rear shocks, I just never got on with air (again, big dude probz, the...

Ah, interesting. I was curious if that was that case and what ratio is really deemed "progressive". Looking at a Knolly Endorphine (a very close proxy to the Scout), it's megaaaa progressive, which I think threw me a bit as I was using it as a barometer in conjunction with the Patrol.

Jeff: quite on point. I ended up spending about 2 hours on Antonio's linkage blog aka Mr Blackmore's Corner (in the forum) looking at leverage curves. I like to know the how and why when it comes to frame design and spec. Being super picky, I tend to want to change everything to my liking, but thankfully I like to...
Antonio, your site is so sick. I'm using it currently to compare leverage ratios of a couple bikes, as I'm trying to figure out shock tunes and whether or not a coil shock will work on my new trail bike. It's interesting to see the how some of the ratios are super wild, just as some are super linear. Really...

For those wondering, that photo is from a looooong time ago, like '13 or '14 when Casey was still racing DH and on the Bergamont team.
Not to discount Gwin's World Cup wins, but where are all of his World Champ jerseys? Sam was consistent in the overall race series and also consistently won Word Champs - twice as a Junior and 3 times in Elites.
