Listen kids. There is a Tomac named John, and a whole ‘nother Lawrence family that involves riding with and wrenching for some fella’s named Palmer and McGrath, and lots of love for 20” wheels and loose-over hardpack. REMEMBER the roots of mtb dh are actually in road bikes, bmx and winter sports. Moto is just how badass people from the MTB industry figured out how to get paid for a generation… Mountain Bikes- cul de sac lifestyle approved since ‘87

I think Jeff is still welding them. He'll have the rear triangles done roughly 2 days before the first race and air mail them out.

New Sight with flight attendant. I know they offer FA on a lot of their models but could be an interesting combination with a HP trail bike.

On their site it specifies he’s on board as a “Team Director” that wants to race while his heart is still in it. Not brought on to be on the podium.

Bikes are not just their suspension layout. They are a sum of all their parts. I believe that the new optic and sight are going to be really good bikes.

So who was Jeff building frames for in that post? And why was MS rider Trummer on an M1? Do we need more clues at this point? Not saying Dak is on it (hoping he is), but MS Intense seems pretty obvious at this point.

The new sight and optic look identical in I'd say every way possible. that goes for the alloy and carbon models. Just the springy bits are longer on one. Can confirm idlers are offset from the main pivot. Wagon wheel size idlers. Norco got boned hard by the delays of rolling these two bikes out late because of overstock on the current models. They are now releasing these two rigs after the the Slash and Druid V2 releases have happened and have had time to take some market share away from them. The Optic is going to be compared to...

It is sad, but the reality is bike purchases are heavily driven by aesthetics. In some ways you want to respect companies that cling to their image but is it really worth doing so at the expense of failing? Ibis adapted by getting rid of the swoopy top tube. But Intense is another example of a company that refuses to get rid of questionable branding and may go the way of the dodo if they don't adapt. Need to take ques from the brands gaining marketshare... i.e. WAO & Forbidden, clean lines & minimal branding. Bikes need to look sexy...

@mcfadden999 and anyone else responding to him, guess what? there's an entire forum where you can start a new topic dedicated to one specific thing and you can develop that topic into the minutia it deserves. no more cascade review crap in this thread. hooray for babysitting grown adults in 2024!
