He passionate and knowledgeable,he's even quite good at interviews. He is just bad at live commentary, it's a skill. If you watch Supercross you'll know how bad RC is. Same vibes from Ric.

The coverage itself, aside from the lead commentators brain numbing commentary, has been fantastic in 2024. Things that must change though: Scrap semis, or at the very least, stream it live for free on YT. Allow top 60 to compete in finals, highlights package for 30-60 riders before full live coverage of the final 30. Increase the women's field to 20 riders and broadcast them all.

Timed training done. Live timing looked like something glitched, but their official results sheets are out and match the results below. "First two practice sessions were fast, dusty, then rain came in and made it a mudder that wasn't really condusive for practicing, so lots didn't train in the wet." I was born in Poland, but I grew up in California....spent 40 years there. Now I'm back in Poland...as luck would have it....in Bielsko-Biała. For the past 3 years I've been riding most of the trails that'll be used at the event. Prior to that, my resume includes mostly Skegg's Point and Braille in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a run down Mt. Lemmon outside of Tuscon, and some Tapia Canyon (Castaic, California). I'm old and mostly ride motorcycles with MTB stuff peppered in here and there. Nevertheless, I think I have some unique credibility here. So if you will endulge...

Maybe… just maybe,,, now stay with me here… she (and the other pros saying the same thing) has a valid point that the liaison times were unrealistically short and us armchair racers should refrain from speculating on her (and other pro athletes who do this for a living) fitness levels and take them at their word that they know what they’re talking about and the liaison times were, indeed, unrealistically short.

Stage 4 was cancelled for the Elite riders due to 'a big crash' and although it's not necessarily the case that this crash was related to the criticism from Bex, it's an unfortunate coincidence at best. Hope the rider concerned is okay and heals up quickly. Checking the live feed to see what the stage results are is less than ideal. #makeendurogreatagain
