I wasn't aware that Whyte were switching to wire power/battery as they're currently relying on the regular SRAM external battery on all of their ebikes right now. Thanks for the clarifications.

I saw a 2025 Slash+ being discounted already. At this point there's no way any manufacturer will be able to sell their 2025 bikes at full MSRP in any kind of significant amount and I can easily see the situation being the same for 2026. There's too many factors that will continue to do significant damage to the industry for...

Santa Cruz Bullit 4 rumours. Bike would be revealed early April, Gloss Black & Matte Teal Sparkle colors. New SRAM Eagle 70 & 90 drivetrains (mechanical) on lower end builds. SC are now showing pictures of an unknown color (looks like Gloss Black) on their Vala page. Santa Cruz are tagging bike models in the name of the photos on...

I can assure you that both Rocky Mountain in Saint-Georges and Devinci have bilingual staff, there's no language barrier here. It's almost impossible to run a business in Quebec without speaking English, lots of companies have their internal meeting held in English even if the majority of their employees are French native.

Good find! The income statement alone doesn’t tell the whole story, and we really need more context to piece together what went wrong. Unfortunately, some of the key financials I was itching to see are “sealed” in the full document. That said, there’s still plenty of useful information in the PDF—and yes, I did wear my Patagonia vest today. Profitability Rocky wasn’t particularly profitable even in 2022, and things fell apart in 2023 and beyond (as shown by net income, which doesn’t give the full picture but is telling). This is surprising, considering 2020–2022 were peak COVID years. For context...

I believe Rocky Mountain are still alone making their own drive unit. The Specialized SL units you're referring to are made by Mahle and Brose are making their full power motors.

I believe PON do not care about mountain bikes other than Santa Cruz, the effort isn't there and they're not even hiding it. They let GT rot to death on a tight budget and open up the Cannondale website just for fun, it's all road and city bikes. The Cannondale MTB segment from their ambassadors to their bikes is a...

This is making no sense at all, you can't ''pause'' a brand, lay off staff & athletes just to try to position yourself as a premium brand the year after. They're actually doing the complete opposite of what's required to reposition GT as a premium brand within the next two years.

How reliable is that source ? Website seems very sketchy and its location is in Belgium. The website also mentions a new Forbidden Reya XC non high pivot bike.
