I was happy when I saw that Shimano made a specific LinkGlide 11 speed Di2 derailleur, but what a let down when I saw that they basically locked it to OE market and force you to wire it. What kind of decision is this ? Leave it wireless and give the option to wire it for power if you want...

Really don’t get the dumb dislikes on the previous post, the black ones ( I got 3 all in full black with the last 3 warranties ) are the latest stock apparently, and after some torch inspection no, there’s no extra seal around the pins, so they will keep failing with moisture staying trapped causing the spring to corrode or something.

This administration is lacking clarity when making announcements, but I'm pretty sure I read that a lowered 10% baseline tariff would still be in place for all countries during the pause. USA-China trade war will be painful for americans if it's not short-lived, China will never back down from this fight and they can actually afford more pain than the...

USA just added an additional 50% tariff on China effective April 9th just to add a little bit more pain and uncertainty to the story. 20% initial tariff + 34% reciprocal tariff + 50% retaliatory tariff on China's retaliation = 104% The short term pain is going to be pretty painful I guess ?

China is actually 54%, they confirmed the 34% was stacking on top of the existing 20%. I have no words for what's going on. Will the USA bankrupt some of their own companies if this is long term ?

I was looking at the new 2026 Santa Cruz Eagle 70 & 90 builds released today and saw these black Mavens on the spec list, they're the new base version of the Mavens. This new version has a DirectLink lever instead of the SwingLink we all love, does anyone know if the lever feel was updated or if that mushy...

It would be sad to see WAO go, there goes your lifetime warranty... Canada just announced retaliatory tariffs on $30B worth of US goods effective from tomorrow in response to the US aluminum & steel tariffs. This is including sports equipements so most likely bicycles will be affected, but not confirmed yet.
