First of all, I'm a I9-fan, but why? Install it and forget it! Okay that's not possible you can’t forget/ignore your I9 because: A - of great sound B - the nice finish - its an eyecatcher 😇 I have always two wheelsets for my main bike (Santa Cruz Megatower). Note: if you want a second wheelset for quick changing without a adjust brakes or shifting, use the same hub manufacture/model, same disk rotors and same cassette. Whenever buying anything in the biking world, the general rules when choosing a product is durable, lightweight, and inexpensive, you can only pick two. The Deity Compound Pedals breaks this rule and achieves all three aspects. At only $48 for a pair, they weigh in at svelte 339 grams which is within 10 grams of other platform pedals that cost at minimum $200, and the pedal body is as thin or thinner as their expensive competitors. These would be good brakes if sram could figure out how to get a working set out the door. I have warranted 2 pairs and everyone i know who has a set has exchanged theirs. Avoid at all costs. Get some zees, they are life changing

It's impossible to review these brakes without first mentioning that they're heavily discounted all over the internet, so the "real" price is closer to £100/pair (not including rotors). That makes them by far the best value performance brake available, from any brand before you even mention that they actually work pretty well too. They're light weight and pretty powerful, especially with a big ol' rotor. In theory mineral oil has a lower boiling temperature than DOT fluid, but I've never experienced an overheating problem that was due to the fluid, only the pads start to struggle if you drag and...

Itraded a warrantied XTR shadow+ derailleur, new in box, for the ZEE, because it was cheap. I chose the ZEE specifically because it has a steel backplate in place of the aluminum one which lives on the XTR. This aluminum backplate turned out have a significant weak spot, which I broke. I figured that due to this key difference, the ZEE would have a fighting chance. I mounted up the ZEE on my G-Spot, with a 11-36 cassette and an MRP Mini Guide.
