Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

Is that with or without YT's departure? I'm assuming they, at the very least, get to 21st heading into next year... And then ride out wild card entries at every single event. I can't imagine they aren't first in line for wildcard entries. For a few reasons... To me the biggest question is, does Pivot do anything in the off season to position themselves better? Or does the team fade more so into local races with no roster changes, etc. I actually quite liked Pivot going to 'local' races since you knew you were gonna get BK/JH and even EdBullMH...

I would bet that the Pivot circus might be his only offer that doesn't feel like a downgrade to some third tier team. Join them for minimal pay but it's good times and high vibes with the freedom to promote himself however he wants (vlogs, merch).

Thank you for posting this. Too many people are using a racing rumors thread to talk crap on Kerr. It's also pretty sexist and BS that people are talking crap on Jenna when she works incredibly hard at her craft and has the speed. Can we move on from this please?

Jenna won as many races as Jake Jewett last year. ...and she won the Women's Elite New Zealand Continental Series race this last weekend beating Sascha Earnest who by many accounts is a podium threat for this upcoming women's World Cup season. It's fun to pretend she's only around because her and BK are together, but I think a tough couple seasons for injuries made us forget that she's actually pretty fast and was a Junior World Champ.

I’d assume people would prefer to be on teams with coaches and nutritionists and multiple line spotters and psychologists. Basically a ton more support. If I were to make a guess, that’s probably why the Jewett brothers went elsewhere. They’re super talented racers but they need coaches and psychologists to go up the results sheet and that doesn’t seem to be an option with PFR. I don’t know anything about BK as a person. I thought the Jenna thing was wild and something I wouldn’t do but Morganne and Emilie (sp?) have enough pull in their public standing and industry...

Guys won Hardline a few times and gotten podiums for Pivot and got Eddie Masters on the team who' has won an EWS for them but I assume you think he's a bad look for them because of who he's dating. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but if someone isn't committing a crime or causing offence to someone shouldn't we just mind our own business

I wonder if the Pivot crew could swap to a belt from the cranks to the upper drive cogs and still qualify? BK, if you see this and try it, I want a signed photo from Lada.
