Isn't a 14 inch BB height more or less normal for all mountain bikes? Okay, some have a lower BB, but only by a few mm (the BB is a few mm under the wheelbase, axle-to-axle), while some are higher still (Nicolai Helius AM). I figure that the BB is on the axle line here, since the rims have a ~13 inch radius, which gets bumped up by the adition of a tyre.

Do they use the same damper assembly on 32 mm forks too? Coz i see no other reason to have another inner tube for the damping cartridge and all that empty space around it...

Don't you just hate it when these awesome skiers with even awesomer shots from Jackson Hole start making just as awesome bike vids. And to top it all of, they mash them up togheter!! The )!*?!=#=!'s!! Anywho, is it weird that i badly want to go snowboarding midway through the biking season? Seeing this doesn't help. As doesn't visiting Andrew's Vimeo channel. Again.

As for the Aero part, you are right, MX doesn't have it but they don't need it as much. They are running powered machines after all. Mountain bikers have a lot less power so any savings show themselves up a lot more. There's a different problem to aero. In road racing (cyling that is) the aero circuimstances are quite stable...
