Stiffer? This would be the definition of flexy compared to short-linked and horst-linked suspension systems...

Why would you measure tavel AND acceleration of the same thing, when you can easily deduce travel, speed and acceleration from just one dataset? Ofcourse if acceleration is being measured only in the suspension travel's path. If it measures acceleration on it's right angle axis, that's a different story.

I've said a couple of times, that the spread of an 11t cassette or a 1x11 setup is kinda small copared to a 2x10. A 44t cassette would definetly help (together with a 9t cog, all of that then neatly packaed in a 10 mm pitch system with an 11-~50 cassette in the same dimensions, diameter wise). Though based on my calculations, i could just barely make it with a 44-10 casette and a 30t in front, that would quite closely match my current 22-32 and 32-11 cassette setup.

Primoz Added a reply to Shimano 11 speed on the way

9t doesn't work because of the polygon effect. Read about it in Bikeradar's presentation of the XX1, where it was told the protos used a 9t cog from the Shimano commuter grouppo. Unless Shimano decided touse a 10 mm pitch chain for their 1x11 group, then they could use an 11t in a 1/2" 9T cog diameter. EDIT: damn you...

Doesn't a lifetime warranty mean until the product is EOL? o.O If it's not, what lifetime? A persons? The average human liftime? The lifetime of a tortoise (up to 150 years)?

I'm familiar with the way F1 works. And it's not completely analogous to the MTB world (my racedriver/testdriver analogy is still correct since it in no way limits itself to F1), since there are ~5 F1 cars made per season, the testing is COMPLETELY limited and you really need to be in top notch fitness to get anything, not just the most out of the car. Still, teams (Ferrari) used to have 2, maybe even 3 drivers on the team that were used specifically for test duties. In the case of Ferrari, they were far from top notch drivers (Luca...
