It's heart-breaking to have to post news like this. Scott Huntley is the rider who passed away at National DH Champs yesterday. Eastern States Cup and many others have so many great things to say about Scott. He sure looked like a shredder and all-around great human. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends as we all mourn the loss of Scott. It's a sad, sad day for our community. Ride in Peace, Scott.

Curious what y'all know about the new Specialized tires with tire dampening technology. Is that like a mud conditions tire for wet terrain? Or is it a dry tire, but it dampens the dirt so it becomes wet and tacky?

Has anyone seen any info or rumors regarding the release dates of next gen of wireless dropper posts? I've seen the patents for the new AXS Reverb. Also there was the leaked Fox Transfer Neo as well as the BikeYoke showing off something at Eurobike. I haven't seen any solid release dates anywhere though.

Got to see the new Schwalbe Assegai/Kryptotal type tyre at Eurobike today on a random bike that it probably should not have been on. Differential F/R wheel speed as it's shown in the recent stumpjumper review is a bogus way to measure traction in a mountain bike. Many here may not have read the whitepaper (ha!) for the newest Diverge frame, but it is chock full of pseudoscience b.s. that would be a judgement call between incompetence and academic fraud if the two researchers that are supposed to have collaborated on it published anything like the summary being used by the marketing team.
