RE: Nukeproof, this is a portion of an interview on Bike-EU with Belgian Cycling Factory CEO Joachim Aerts. Full article is behind a paywall. How big is Nukeproof in relation to Ridley? Ridley is about half the size of Nukeproof in revenue. Nukeproof also includes a series of parts and accessories. We will continue to distribute these. What other assets...

Rumors that IB is trying to make a comeback in '26. I honestly don't know why brands would want to attend given the cost and rumored location. The CABDA model seems better if they could manage to add a southeast and northwest venue to the mix.

Catching up on the thread and not to pile on to said dead horse but there is info out there for Athertons (bikes, racing, trees, etc) if you're so inclined. Some interesting reading if you're @jeff.brines geeky. For the record, I like what they're doing, am a big fan, and hope to add one of their bikes to my garage...

Two big things help foreign sellers and thereby end customers. First, we have the de minimis value in the US set at $800/person/day. So if you buy goods that are shipping from an international seller and they are below $800 then you don't owe any duties. If, as a company, you go source goods in a foreign country and import...

Very badly. Makes all imported frames and parts more expensive, passes on those costs to consumers. Frames and parts in the country are already discounted to sell, meaning they won't be ordering any more at a 10%+ increased price as they can't already move the cheaper ones. A universal tariff is a horrendous economic policy

Despite repeated financial injections from its owner DMEP, the manufacturer has now filed for a payment extension. According to DMEP, Stella can no longer achieve sustainable profitability in its current form and requires a "substantial" capital injection. “the...

They acquired the brands along the way to grab the respective customer bases but seemingly have never developed a plan to unite them around one brand, presumably KTM, and simplify everyone's lives. KTM would likely be better served to merge them all and offer short, regular, tall models, especially in the offroad segment or treat each brand as a size...

RE: Felt & Pierer, this is from a bike-eu.com article behind a paywall but helps to explain some things. "The first indication of a change in the bicycle and e-bike business at Pierer Industrie came with the report on the disinvestment of R Raymon in September 2023, quickly followed by the announcement on the reorganisation of Felt Bicycles. Felt Bicycles...
