8/17/2025 12:03pm Finally! A proper electronic DH rear derailleur. I've been wondering when we'd be able to pay $1500 to ruin three derailleurs on the same rock in one race weekend. Can't come fast enough.

8/14/2025 6:52am Screw that, I don't want to have to disconnect my brake hose just to mount it to a fork. I hate the internally routed rear enough.

8/11/2025 10:31pm Have you noticed over the past few years that there has been one frame dimension that people obsess over? One year was head angle, then reach, then seat tube angle, stack now it's chain stays.. Now seeing more people who are realizing that all those numbers have to work together...

8/11/2025 10:28pm I'm going to take a moment to lay out a real tech based reason that a dual shock bike could be useful. Not because I think it's where this bike was going and not because I necessarily think it's a good idea. Just for the fun of it. Each shock has its own leverage curve. You could use this to create an effective leverage curve anywhere between the two by proportionally changing the amount of support you are getting from each shock. Let's say one leverage curve was 30% progression and the other was 10%... you could alter how each...

7/10/2025 10:16pm The PUSH Industries Nine. One Specifications 150mm-170mm travel (10mm steps), 36mm stanchions, bushing overlap 145mm, coil sprung, 15mm floating axle, pneumatic bottom out control, weight 2960g, Chassis The 9.1 crown is large with massive overlap on the 44.5mm aluminum upper legs which are bonded in. Specialized developed a fully bonded alloy crown/stanchion system for the E160 fork around 2010 while I was a member of the engineering group. It is a great alternative to the traditional press fit assembly method for a fork CSU, and in some ways superior. The moto inspiration for the 9.1 design is apparent, the fork lugs...

7/4/2025 2:01am I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but I'm not sure a dh race is the place to bring your dog. I've had enough issues with trail dogs (I feel pretty strongly that most dogs shouldn't come along for the ride and aren't as great on the trail as their owners say they are) and not sure massive crowds full of yelling, screaming people is the place to bring your dog.

6/29/2025 9:48pm So I’ve noticed Fox mentions Podium e-bike+ on https://tech.ridefox.com/bike/owners-manuals/3108/fork--2026-podium- Is that just to make sure we fatties on e-bikes set our sag and dampenerers correctly, or is that a different fork?
