7/3/2024 10:36am Short chainstays are back in style (432mm on S3, 435mm on S4)? I like short chainstays, but the wireless-shifting-only cable routing is a weird decision to say the least.

6/12/2024 7:36pm Why alloy pedals? Nylon offers superior weight, superior price, and far forgiving, and do not bent when u hit rock hard, I typically change pedals once in while, like $50 one up or alternative of ur choice, never service, never worry, in case they last me 6 month.

3/26/2024 3:13pm Why would you release something so ugly when the oneup tool exists? Why is there 8 trillion loose parts to lose trailside? Swing and a miss CB.

2/7/2023 10:46am e13 support super fast to response and address claim, I had 2 issues (non wheels) all were addressed within the week including shipping time, so I would consider their support quite good

nick.malyshenko Added a comment about feature Why Are Bike Prices Going Up? And Up?
11/23/2021 8:44pm 8% across the board, considering 6% of consumer shopping cart increase is not that bad at all; Also I bought new bikes this year ( 4 of them) for reasonable prices, i would say shipping was out of the range

9/24/2021 8:30am Noticed, that the more travel bike have, the longer rims typically last so same rim on spur and on the scout even with rather trails for the following will last longer

9/23/2021 3:23pm Why not to use integrated dropper in that case? I like the idea of minimizing amount bearings that bike uses, however same design could be achieved with traditional shock

nick.malyshenko Added a reply to Re: Spoomer ca 2017. Anyone gone from 29er back to 27.5?
8/11/2021 2:39pm For me it is more about bb drop / stack height, you can achieve desirable parameters on both wheel sizes; Since I have long legs and 6'1 height I do prefer 29' since more bb drop and higher front end achieved;

5/5/2021 10:14pm Brake pads, easier to buy new brake rather brake pads ( formula brakes in US) so it is not common product anyway

5/5/2021 10:11pm My bikes builded to last, i more worried about service lines to ger fork/shock service or lack of brake pads - those are kinda essential

nick.malyshenko Added a reply to Are Upside-Down forks really flexy?
1/6/2021 5:11pm Shiver was nice fork for that time, dorado also have to performance; USD forks have issue with: - look, majority customers buy products based on ascetics - require more complicated service for average Joe/Jill or higher price tag charged by shop - damage of the stanchions can occur more easy (and none sell spare stanchions) Flex itself is not bad...
