nick.malyshenko Added a reply to Why are there still no 200mm+ Enduro bikes?
2/25/2020 9:56pm I never saw trails marked for triple crown, however saw trail marked for mandatory fullface and body armor, which makes more sense to me; Fox shock from 10 y ago is the most tunable, not the most advanced shock

2/25/2020 6:04pm is there a big difference btw 180 and 205mm at the rear? I doubt I will feel it, I would agree that triple crown forks make huge difference going downhill, however on the rear anything 160+ has no difference, just use more tokens in case of bottoming out

2/9/2020 9:15pm Cmon, lets evaluate riders whether they have heart assist, artificial joints etc? Pedal assist is not Even close to motorized bikes, while it does help you to pedal further it will not make you better rider or will not give you still balls to shred downhill 49+Mph, to me it is absolutely equal mtb and emtb

1/21/2020 6:47pm Initially i was supper stoked to see this concept, however I put this on pause for the few specific reasons: Stem must be-torqued; I found that SWAT solution suits me better

1/21/2020 6:44pm Bmx does have steel steers, this is different from alu / carbon found on mtb; Just to make my statement more clear: i’ve cracked alu steer on the fork which was considered as a issue covered by manufacturer warranty, The issue was prior ECD tool popped on the marked, however in case of any threads - warranty could be an issue;

I appreciate the trend of longer / slacker / more travel bikes which brings stability speed and safety at the mountains (like a ski’s) - because it leads into the geometry change for the short travel bikes. I purchased my last bike purely based on geometry, despite i do not need all of 180 travel, however at the moment of the purchase there where lack of short travel, slack and long bikes;

9/7/2019 9:35am I voted Yes! Finally! only because the older I get the more I believe we should be more open with trail access to all forms of fun. Smart local regulations are key, but just because I believe a pedal bike is the bees knees doesn't mean I shouldn't respect hikers, equestrian, moto (okay, I ride moto too) e-bikes etc. What I really want to see is more trials. Demand is higher than ever. What we need is a plethora of trails and we could all quit our bitching and whining. BTW, I'm not sure how this will really effect thinhgs...

9/7/2019 9:30am Rest if the globe tolerate ebikes just fine, it is only North America bitching about them; they are pedals assist bikes first of all; You cannot ride them uphill without spinning the pedals! They do allow to ride more after-all and have more fun Voted - yes finally, since ebikes are absolutely ok in EU and people take advantage of...

jeff.brines Liked a comment about Feature Specialized Stumpjumper EVO vs. Stumpjumper - See How They Compare
7/18/2019 3:09pm I'd wager I am more critical of bikes than most testers. The funny part is this review was literally supposed to take place over one week in the desert and turned into an entire spring, summer and fall. Which was good. It really let me suss out performance of both bikes, and compare them to other bikes like the Transition Sentinel, Trek Slash, Canyon Torque (I know, totally difference) and others. Few things to realize... 1) I still pretend to race pro, and I'm not light. This is important as the speed I'm trying to carry and the net impact...

6/20/2019 8:42pm My next bike will have external brake cable routing. I'll take something that's easy to work on over neatness any day.
