Not going to go off on headset routing like I have before, but an experience this week, it took two people to push a fork up through the brake hoses while trying to also keep the hoses from twisting around the steerer or each other while also not having enough room to see down through it all. Most companies have not left enough room for the hoses to flex properly around the steerer or through the top cap so you often end up with resistance when turning as it's rubbing somewhere.... For no perceivable advantage until you hit 45km/h on...

Yea but we have the Spur and Element with proper cable routing... this commencal headset routing bike is is an instant ‘no’ from me.

I will say, of the dozen or so Yetis I’ve worked on (it’s a small sample size for sure, they seem to prefer the dealer) 10 have required full slider replacement, to the tune of $400ish bucks if I remember. That was over the span of a couple years, but none of the bikes were more than 2 years old. All the caveats apply, Where, how often, is any maintenance done, etc. I find most Horst link, faux bar bikes are good for 2-4 before they need bearings swapped, full kit for a Sentinel, $130Can last time I ordered

It's all fun and games until you find yourself on a bike with a giant dildo hanging off it... But, on the other hand, I rode with a guy the other day... Older guy, used to ride road back in the 80s and 90s.. Age and weight has caught up with him. He borrowed an ebike and was able to hang with us on on most of the climbs. He had a blast riding with his boys and seems like a strong candidate to buy one. Hell, I'm closing in on 50, so I can see me on one within...
