Please move this discussion to the "pedaling sucks" forum. This one is for team rumors and not uphill alpine sking.

The vast majority of complaints arise when speaking specifically about DH courses that involve pedaling. Yes, sometimes riders bitch about climbing (like normal people do) but they still all ride trail bikes and train on road. They mainly complain about pedaling in a sport that is totally focused with going downhill. Therefore the best tracks are 100% downhill. Introducing flat or even uphill sections in a DH race is not a good thing. Same goes for alpine ski racing. When there are flat, slow sections it sucks. And ski racers complain about it. Skiing through flat sections is totally doable...

My $$ would be on an end of season clear out. We see the pros's do the same thing here in Australia at the end of each year.

Make an e-bike. Go for it. But using an iconic name from your history of race bred machines? I think the program managers made a bit of a poor choice there for a pun name? Haaaaa. I'm going to go ahead and guess there are some salty employees/designers/engineers at Intense on this one.

Possibly because they are primarily Downhill riders on a Downhill team?? Seems unlikely that Pivot and Norco would commit to a team entry (I imagine it comes at a sum of money) when not every rider (or any at all) is competing in every round. With relation to Rat, it should be noted that Sam Dale isn't listed within a team either, since neither or on the actual Santa Cruz enduro team, a la Josh Lewis, Mark Scott and Iago Garay.

If this indeed is the case, it seems weird to me. Cannondale's image/perception vs. Josh's fun loving free spirit. Be interesting to say the least.
