That was just his Specialized salary. Other endorsements add up as well. Tomac was in multiple ads in each issue of the mags I read in the 90s. The Tomac name was a brand even before he had branded bikes.

i do realize that i am doing the same thing as you by asking someone to stop doing something, but can people please stop ranting and raving (your own words) about new bikes being discussed not being a part of the racing rumors thread? I for one find the bike speculation that goes into the whole "how are things gonna be" equally exiting and as integral a part of the "who goes where" speculation as where people are actually headed. So given that none of you are mods - can't the thread just live its own life? Sure, i can't...

Pretty sure not hitting your goal of world domination due to injury but still keeping it in the top 5 whilst holding back and testing new equipment is nothing any company would consider something worth cutting from their budget given the fact there´s really no valid alternative. Not many podium regulars are up for grabs and even if they were, injury can strike any time. Ok guys, please stop discussing shocks, wheel sizes, what's on Loris' sandwich and all sorts of irrelevant crap on this thread. Start a new thread. It's getting old having to wade through all these posts trying to find RACING RUMOURS. Rant over. About Gwin. I'm all for guys getting paid what they are worth. It's the same in any business. If a sales guy brings in the sales and hits his targets he is entitled to his bonus. For sure Gwin didn't hit his targets in 2018. Maybe that's made everyone financing the team take a step back and reconsider.

Thanks for posting this spomer (and Brendog put it in his Insta story between run 1/2). I'm so pissed off about this... great Rampage overall but Brendog had by far the most unique line and was the most FREERIDE which is what they are claiming the event is, back tot he roots... the rock drop, GNARLY chute, canyon gap etc. Did he deserve to win? No, but that score should have easily been high 70's. You could tell by his reaction he was shocked by it. Glad Rheeder won but they are still overweighting jumps and features with massive highway...
