Good point here! Martin always takes care of his riders! I might've said this before, but after Global Racing was done and G-Cross Honda only had limited places that first year (Cyrille Kurtz alongside Greg Minnaar), Matti Lehikoinen and Justin Havukainen were without team, but not without support. As far as I know, Martin backed them up personally and they rode black Oakley gear, Matti on an Orange 224 and Justin on an Intense M1. I would assume they also got help from Honda, SRAM or Shimano mechanics, but I also remember talking to Martin that year and one thing...

I've ridden DH on acid. It is Definitely a performance enhancing drug. Even after I took my hands off the bars and grabbed onto the fork tubes. So fun.

Apparently, according the Martin, Neko will sell his frames. [b]captain23 (6 hours ago) I believe that this is open to interpretation as the entire section of innovation is prefaced by the sentence: "Except in mountain bike racing, no technical innovation regarding anything used...." and I know that the UCI sees MTB as a testing ground for new product innovation, hence no Commissaire or UCI staff has ever asked us if our bikes are prototypes or on sale publicly. All of this is pretty beside the point as Neko's frames will be for sale once he settles on the final design...

So, pulled the trigger on a shorter bike and Im stoked. I lost about an inch of wheelbase and I think over an inch of ETT, reach maybe is half an inch shorter. Back feels much better, can power through the end of climbs without muscles tightening up and slowing me down. On top of that, the smaller bike does not feel short/sketchy at all. I think its even more stable than my XL patrol was.
