Hey guys, bummer to see all the hate from a few of you but I guess that’s passionate fans in sporting. Here’s the reality. From my understanding and recent reading of the rules, There is not a rule that says you must petition. A petition just assures that you are considered. The rules basically say that USA cycling will pick, at their discretion, everyone who is not an automatic selection (national champ or top 3 in previous world champs). After that the rules just say that they will basically pick whoever is in the top 50 of the current WC...

Inside the last 2 years my recent bikes have gone from full 29 - 27.5 - 27.5+ - Mullet - back to full 29. The only spares that were affected where tires, which wasn't an issue since I don't really run the same tire F & R anyways. I see it as really coming down to personal preference in the...

How's it ride in SLO? Pretty rough terrain, I'm curious how the Trust fares.

You definitely won't mistake it for a long travel bike. It tracks really well and doesn't dive under braking the same way as a normal fork. It is sensitive to the direction of the impact, slapping the front wheel down off a drop gives more feedback than normal. When you get on a fast and chunky section of trail it comes alive though. it has some compromises but I've been really happy with it. I added a couple of volume spacers in each air spring, allowing me to run a little less initial pressure and keep bottoming resistance. It has...

Sick dude! Ran the same set up for awhile. Maybe not the sexiest looking fork but nothing beats them for certain terrain. You can place your front tire anywhere and it just tracks.

Has anyone quantified just how much torsion force there is on a fork during real world riding? Just how much force can the contact patch of the tire actually exert on the fork?

For a single run I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t remove seals, adjust the preload on the light side and just put a little oil in them. An advantage of running hubs with serviceable and adjustable bearings.
