6/15/2025 10:39am This strikes me as excessive. Sag is a relative measurement anyway, there’s very little value in actually knowing the number. I guess you can get a little more precision out of it, and it could be cool to have as a team or a shop, but it’s pretty expensive for an individual

I'm glad you got to see it. "Video unavailable" popped up on my screen halfway through Till's run. I guess it's because I paused watching to take a phone call. Refreshing does nothing and it's no longer on my feed. FFS I love this sport, but I'm getting close to just giving up with these useless twats.

I'm at Leogang this weekend and wanted to get a sense of how widely pedal kickback devices have been adopted by World Cuppers, along with all the other wild accessories like TMD's/shakeweights, electronics, gearboxes, and more. So out of curiosity and as a service to my fellow nerds, I stood at the top of Q1 today and counted all the devices I could. 6/6/2025 10:16am Dak would have qualified in Q1 with his Q2 time. Maybe conditions improved but it’s an argument against holding out for the LCQ. Dakotah is obviously benefiting from the extra run post injury but under normal circumstances I think you’re better off trying to make it happen in Q1

290Wh is an odd choice. The Fuel EXe has a 360Wh battery with the HPR50 and the range is pretty limited already

So cool to see a production bike you can bolt OEM weights to. That's such a wild break from historical bike marketing where weight is always bad. Feels like we're maybe, slowly, inching into the future and embracing a less superstitious worldview of bike performance.

5/22/2025 5:29pm The shock is pretty far ahead of the BB and motors are starting to get pretty small. A TQ might fit as is. You’d have to change the shock access though

Have you had pad rattle on these? Suprised to hear that, because that hasn't been my experience on these brakes. By comparison, my trusty longtime Shimano 8100 XT brakes had such loud pad rattle that people were making fun of it in my riding videos.

Jason’s kind of my boss at Vital, so take the following with a grain of salt, but I thought this was a great breakdown and description of the performance characteristics of a tire, which isn't easy to do well. And I feel like it’s pretty tough to argue with what you wrote, Jason. Literally just look at the gap between the center knobs and side knobs.

I think @TEAMROBOT had a similar answer to what I want to see - less products sold as "THE GREATEST THING EVER CREATED" regardless of who buys it, and more focus on setting up bikes properly or customising for the end user. Yes this would need some new concepts like "education", "training" and maybe even "repairability" but it would hopefully lower the cost of entry to decent bikes, but allow space for aftermarket companies to add on upgrades for the people that want it. A lot of riders want a bike that works well without excessive gimmicks, but its really...
