I was so excited for this to be released, only to be completely let down by "443mm chainstays found across all five sizes" 😢

At first I thought that what mondraker did releasing their bike early with a "motor we can't talk about" was sort of weird... but now that I've had a look at everything releasing tomorrow... I totally get their strategy. Talk about a sea homogenization.

I agree. @TEAMROBOT think you could get that done before MY30 Zeb comes out?? 😉

This forum is for discussing anything related to the 2027 RockShox Zeb fork (B1 models). Feel free to ask questions , leave helpful tips for setup/service, or provide notes about how the fork has worked for you. RockShox has completely overhauled its Zeb fork for model year 2027. They took what they learned developing the latest Boxxer and applied many of the same technologies and tuning ideologies to their single-crown gravity fork. Everything is new with the Zeb, from the chassis to the damper and air spring, to the external adjustments. Below is a deep dive into all the changes...

As long as they are going into it anticipating relatively low volume and to sell to their fans/employees who mtb rather than try to market against Fox/tld/pearl/etc they’ll do just fine. I’m sure they are well aware your average mtber isn’t going to pay those prices to wear their name. But I’m sure they are also aware they have plenty of people who are willing to pay those prices whether they are decking themselves out for their first ride or are going to wear it twice a week for a few years riding.

I’m riding an avinox motor and I’m gonna explore this. I think there’s a good argument in favor of high torque and low power—high power makes it so easy to hit 20mph on a multidirectional trail that you run a serious risk of a 40mph head on collision with an ebike going the other way
Seems like Fox is leaning further into relying on the damper for support. I have 50 miles on one of the new 38s (and new Float X) on a soon-to-be-announced bike and the overall small bump has improved quite a bit. Reduced binding begets more damping begets reduced progression?

Anyone aware of any new bikes coming out using the TQ40 motor like the rallon rs? Or similar low power sub 40#? I rode a rallon rs and it was almost perfect. It’d be sweet to get the rallon rs but without all the integration mainly the dropper. Ideally set up with a one up dropper, transmission, and mavens.

Lycra is a name brand of elastane, also known as spandex, and they also have a few other technical fibers or treatments in their portfolio, such as Coolmax. I doubt the bankruptcy will have much of an impact beyond the immediate disruption, as there's no shortage of companies that make an equivalent fiber, both on the affordable and premium end. They also went through some kind of default in 2022 so this isn't their first bump in the road.

I don't know whether to be alarmed or relieved that bikes are so homogenized that even aventon can release one.

A KGB spy and a CIA agent meet up in a bar for a friendly drink "I have to admit, I'm always so impressed by Soviet propaganda. You really know how to get people worked up," the CIA agent says. "Thank you," the KGB says. "We do our best but truly, it's nothing compared to American propaganda. Your people believe...

So I pulled the trigger on that Transition regulator SX. It was a demo bike so it had a few miles on it (fine by me for the price). I went for my first ride on it, very brief before it started snowing again fml. But i noticed a noise and have no idea if its normal or not. On the downstroke of my left foot, it was making a kind of rubbing noise simlar to the sound your shoe or fabric might make if it was rubbing on your crank, i actually looked down to see if it was...
