This is actually pretty common for them, basically outlet/clearance level sales like ~50% stuff that is only sold in person as 'final sale'. Blah blah. That said, I didn't quite expect THIS. What they just showed on social media. That's... Different. I understand they are clearing old stock... But that waves a lot of red flags. I dunno. Would like to hear other opinions. Again, probably not that unusual. They have tons of outlet clearance on the website at any given time and are already known for doing parking...

Up in Canada-land, I have seen a number of new HP Sights around the eastern Alberta Rockies say ~7-8 of 'em, and ride with a couple of folks that own the higher end ones, but nothing in qty. like years past Horst link models. I almost bought a new C1 160 MX until I found a deal on a nice WAO Arrival. It doesn't help when the mid-size bike shop in my neighborhood still has 2023 Sights on the floor, and the sales guy eyes glaze over when I ask about the HP version. I think HP was the wrong...

Just a reminder that the actual conspiracy is SRAM selling heavily discounted electronic groupsets to component integrato... I mean "bike brands" knowing that consumers will be on the hook for their shitty, high margin proprietary batteries and chargers. It's probably pretty dealer dependent, there's some pretty hard-hitting Norco dealers within a few hours' drive of me. Don't replace with a Sight, supplement! Both the Range and carbon Fluid went away. With the Optic going away it's becoming a very skinny premium lineup. They stopped making it last year actually. They put a longer travel Sight in its place. I have that Range and it’s just phenomenal. I’ve contemplated getting a Sight to replace it. Shed some weight and get some more playfulness. Not worth it to sell in this market, and it’s just too damn good… Probably going to put a dual crown on it since I’m not sure their downhill bike is ever going to materialize.

Crazy that Norco's full suspension premium non-electric bike lineup for 2026 is down to 2 frames for next year: Sight and Revolver. I have any way to predict that Fox is doing this, but I'd be interested if they went for less torsional stiffness on the new 40 crown. The Podium is supposed to be comparable to the new 36 in terms of torsional stiffness, and it feels great. Because the 40 crown is so much flatter, it looks like Fox was able to make the lowers longer, which would allow for more bushing overlap. I wonder if they're trying to copy some of the Podium magic by adding fore/aft stiffness with more bushing overlap while reducing torsional stiffness for better steering...

Just how many ebikes was Gasgas planning to sell that they justified spinning up tools on bespoke dampers in forks and shocks for this collab? It just strikes me as a bit strange.
