The difference is that Peaty spent his whole career helping younger riders with teams, deals and advice. Brendan did a podcast recently where he was saying how Peaty even explained financial advice to him. So he fits naturally into a team in a coaching position. Minaar, while obviously the GOAT and an amazing racer and ambassador, is also known for intimidating or confusing his own more junior team members. It is a part of high level sports/racing, so not dissing him (Palmer and even Bruni admitted to doing this on GypsyTales recently), but it does make it harder to find...

Kiwi kids making an impact on things at crankworx. Camden rutherfurd took the win in u15 air dh and dual slalom. Shame he’s too young to compete in whip off, posted something on instagram of him on crabapple hits and the kid knows a thing or two about getting sideways to say the least

On sikmik83 's instagram you can see that Yeti already has addressed that chain slap between the little roller and the crank with a plastic cover over the chain.

The demo he’s on is a custom size for him, I can’t see him jumping on the new frame design this season, he clearly has something that works for him. and the next race is this weekend….. so unless he has already been testing the new bike in the background, then I can’t see it happening. I also heard that even the prototype of the new frames work costly, not that would be a problem to a company like specialized. But Loic stuck to the old frame last season when Finn was already on it, to me that indicates that...

I'm not interested in E-bikes and don't really follow E-bike news, It's also been 15+ years since working in a shop, so the motor failure rates are news to me. Is this perhaps one of the reasons Sram has been waiting so long to release their own motor? From an outsider's perspective, it seems like they were sort of "late to the party." Now I'm wondering if it was strategic.

He said the original prototype they raced last year was 41-43 or thereabouts. They've had the 'new' prototype (that was light) since the fall and it sounds like it was still too heavy. So this is the next version. That he said 'should be production'. Looks like a lot of loam and mud will collect in there. Love that Jeff is teasing the frame 2 weeks before the season. So bad. Should have been in racer's hands months ago--as Dakota eluded to on the podcast.
