Is Trek confirmed? From interviews Lachie really seems to get on with and praise the session. However, earlier in the season at/after Poland Bruni mentioned raising Lachie's prowess/speed/potential to specialized gravity in the past as a potential prospect. Insta confirms he's following them, and not Trek gravity.

The bottom part of the Innsbruck slopestyle, dual slalom is under construction for a hotel or something, they would have to find a new venue. Interestingly, Crankworks is not going to Europe this year, also interesting that crankworks has never been able to find a location that sticks in Europe

The median income of Vital’s readers has almost doubled in that same time! Even adjusting for inflation that’s a lot.

if we look at the provided data , it looks like the cost of an average bike represents the same proportion of your average household (about 4%) income but it looks like the lucky Vital Mtbers got the chance to get their income to keep up with inflation. if we look at the national average, the income did not rise...

Mille is due for a raise, if she's not getting it at Canyon, she might find it elsewhere depending on how the new rules shake down, podium contender woman might be a valuable currency for teams

Big fan of snowshoe. Both riding there as a customer and watching world cups as a spectator. But riding hareball 3 days in a row and risking your life on it in a race run doesn’t sound super fun to me. But that’s also the beauty of professional racing. Snowshoe regularly delivered great racing, a mix up in results, and was the only round in the us at the time. Impossible to argue the stop wasn’t good for the sport and added variety to the schedule.

Sounds like a World Cup at Fontana would be perfect

agree on all points. But when you got Talking Heads like Needles babbling and getting to insert his input with a bunch of TV puppets, this is what you get. I'd be very intrigued to hear a team manager's focus group interview. People like @Captain23 who can give some insight from all sides.

Based on what I read they cancelled them to protect the track (it was getting destroyed in the wet).

This is the main thing I think of when people say they want DH to be like F1: they’ll change the rules, the actual rules, like on a Tuesday between races. Fake shit!

I mean, F1 has made up plenty of rules on the fly... Like every stewarding decision ever and who could forget Abu Dhabi 2021. So I'd say they are on par with F1 in that respect.

You are collecting lots of anecdotical experience but here is mine. I have been destroying 2/3 alloy rims for years, even riding them with tubes when they were to damaged to hold hair. I had a bad experience with pricy Enve wheels back in the days that got crushed but this season I'm back on carbon wheels on all my...

Thanks. It's a bit concerning WB keeps changing the rules, and schedule at their will. I don't remember qualifications, juniors, schedules or what-not being changed that much in the previous 10 (or even 20) years. The concept of a sport is to have stable rules... it's becoming more of a show than a sport.. Also, 10 women in the finals...

BMX is better and easier to ride street and park. Strictly for dirt jumping, they are pretty equal to a DJ but the latter will be more forgiving with a front suspension and it's safer to case with big wheels and longer bikes. I ride BMX at the local jumps (because it's more fun, they jump better and it's more...

Another great race well deserved wins all round. WBD decision to show Tahnee's reactions during Finn's run showed a real lack of class. Whether they are dating or not has no relevance, it's not a soap opera. They weren't interested in Gaetan's reaction when Myriam was on a winning run. Scraping the barrel, gossip magazine shit.

Did I miss something? did the semi-finals disappear mid-season without warning or comments? I know nobody liked them but are the rules supposed to change in the middle of the season??
Dak Buddy, feel for you
