It seems lost on some here that the riders at Hardline are there because they want to be. None of them are being compelled to do anything they don't want to. Watch the vlogs available, they're stoked. If someone (such as Kolb) decides it's too much no one is throwing shade on them, their decisions are respected. I think one of the most dangerous trends we're seeing are these quasi-mullet haircuts so many of these fellas are sporting. Sets a really bad example for the impressionable kids. At least the French brigade and their trash-stache's aren't here and making this really inappropriate for children's eyes.

Absolutely not. Anyone who thinks Hardline or Rampage is too dangerous is an e-bike riding coward.

My kid loves rolling down the trail in the woods with me. She despises climbing up the trail in the woods with me. If an E bike pedal assist got my kid out on her bike with me, more often, I'd be all for it. This is it. ^^^

The solution could be just as simple as giving the judges the flexibility to adjust scores accordingly after seeing all the runs. Thanks for posting this spomer (and Brendog put it in his Insta story between run 1/2). I'm so pissed off about this... great Rampage overall but Brendog had by far the most unique line and was the most FREERIDE which is what they are claiming the event is, back tot he roots... the rock drop, GNARLY chute, canyon gap etc. Did he deserve to win? No, but that score should have easily been high 70's. You could tell by his reaction he was shocked by it. Glad Rheeder won but they are still overweighting jumps and features with massive highway...

I always think rheeder winning anything is like having a smoking hot sister. Yeah she's hot but who cares.

When a perfectionist, super elite athlete like Gwin talks about needing to get a better feel for his bike, we have good reason to believe him. He finished 1.5 seconds back from Bruni.
