At 6' 1", I am commonly between size L and XL. My last bike was a 2017 Commencal Meta AM size L (27.5,) and it seemed about right. I have xt trail with the platform on a MTB and the classic little Shimano clippers on a gravel bike, I use the same shoes on both.
