Since we're on the topic of possible improvements anyway, if possible, I think it'd be nice to be able to have multiple quotes in a single post to avoid double/triple quoting. And a PM dashboard. And as mentioned, a single e-mail notification for the first new post witht he next e-mail delivered after you have checked the thread. I had 60 forum notification e-mails when I came from work today

Have been Vital member for some time but rarely post as the comment section seems clunky and barren. 2 biggest standouts that would increase my usage: 1 - single page load (all comments with the article) 2 - compact design, easy to scroll all and reply Content is/has always been...

Sorry, I was confusing the forums with the comments, so correcting my wish list for comments: - layout is already reasonably compact - deep threading is all set, if there's 4-5 levels - collapsing threads would be nice, but not really necessary until there are a *lot* of comments - single page is already the case that leaves these two as priorities: - upvote/downvote count affects sort order - indication of new comments since last visit

I post the same stuff (smartassery, but serious, hopefully correct, technical comments) here and sometimes there. I mostly get upvotes on my comments over here, I mostly get downvotes on my comments on PB. Nuff said. Welcome to all the PB deserters!

If the Vital crew plays their hand right, they´re the next big thing in mtb media. Bump up those servers, get on those tests, maybe promote your team more and get some respected industry folks/racers/personalities on board. Oh and get yourselves a Ben Cathro! (Just my 2cents, but i could see Phil Kmetz be a great fit with vital!) That´s all.

I'm hoping this becomes a good thing for Vital. Vital has always had better content but maybe not the budget to be at all the races/events viewers care about. I generally go to pinkbike when there is no coverage of something I'm interested in here.

lewzz10 it’s a fairly inexpensive and actually noticeable way to reduce stiction in any rear assembly air or coil. I’ve had a few in the past and haven’t seen any downside.

@thegromit - the long travel 29er chassis will accept the 650b 180mm air spring. Just contact Fox with your fork code or serial number to confirm before you try!
