It is like my buddies SuperCaliber...well...after HOURS of painstaking work trying to get sand, salt and goop out of it to finally get it to slide.....very cool design...well, until you need to service it.

9/18/2021 6:13pm I have XX1 AXS on my bike, GX AXS on the other half...they are about identical but for the lower cage. All reports are they are identical in function and "guts" - we could not be happier - went from ShitmaNO to GX (3x) to XX1 to AXS....

Gotta plug the mixed setup I've been running: GX AXS with Shimano cassette, cranks, and chain. The GX AXS derailleur is an absolute tank that's survived some serious hits (judging by some of the scratches it's showing) and it's played surprisingly well with the Shimano stuff after some initial micro adjustments at the lever. IMO shimano cassettes have better durability and shift quality, but I've not had great luck with XT derailleurs, especially when it comes to the clutch.

What I have had is the inner cage just kinda fall apart...then, I buy a new one and order the parts to fix the GX. I now have three...I did upgrade to XX1 and that issue is over...but...

Sure, but, give your tune ID and serial numbers to Fox they just cant seen to get it right (three times). Now I am supposed to get a new, new, fork that I have to pay for (34SC and then send my rear back for repair as it has never locked at all). Then they will be PTL as opposed to the "Standard" PTU.

Now, if Fox could only make their new stuff work with old old old stuff...I mean, we are talking almost 18 months old...but no, they can not seem to get a 34SC to lock out in the same direction as a new rear....and PTU is just STUPID as their levers are with out a doubt the weakest link and break easy and often. So, if you break your lever you have no suspension as opposed to no lock out (PTL). Stupid.

If they only made a 220... I think we are mostly in agreement. It is definitely the infrared spectrum that matters. I could have phrased it better. To my knowledge objects that appear black in the visible are more likely to emit better in the infrared, though with standard pigments the difference is fairly low. This is why the majority of radiative paints are black.

Yes, the white car doesn't get as hot because it reflects more. But that has nothing to do with how much heat it radiates on its own. The heat source is coming from the inside in this case: if you set fire to the inside of the cars, would the white car be any cooler on the outside, meaning less heat is getting transferred out of the system? Doubtful.
